Notability of Sanatorium (band)

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Sanatorium (band), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. SkierRMH 06:21, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Borat Soundtrack

[edit]

I removed the statement because it would need some sort of citation in order to stay in the article. It's not enough for us to just say so, despite all the evidence, but it would probably take some thrid party sources to affirm it as well. --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 13:58, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I never said anything about "scientific evidence". All I said was that adding that statement probably constituted Original research, and thus it probably shouldn't be included without a citation. --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 15:33, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding edits to Punk in Yugoslavia

[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Chajeshukarie! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule rapidshare\.com\/.+, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. License tagging for Image:Pekinska patka single Punk Yugoslavia.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Pekinska patka single Punk Yugoslavia.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:08, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Re:ZKP RTLJ

[edit]

Nope, sorry, can't agree with that. Changing a company's name does not warrant making two separate articles. If someone wants to read about the company's history, they can go to the article's history chapter, but making a new article for the same company just doesn't make sense.

And by the way, yes, it's RTVS, RTS is Serbia's national broadcasting corporation. edolen1 17:44, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't remove an {{unsourced}} tag unless you actually provide sources. Corvus cornix 00:03, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but just because I don't own the album isn't grounds for removing the unsourced tag. Did you read the link at WP:RS? a Youtube link is not a valid link. You need multiple, neutral, third party links to articles, magazines, newspapers, etc. which discuss the subject. Corvus cornix 00:11, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I hear the woods rustling

[edit]

I'm not sure what exactly it is that you have against using English in the English Wikipedia? You have already broken WP:3RR on this issue. Are you denying that this song is sung in Bulgaria? That it has its text in Bulgarian? It comes from the region of Macedonia - I'm getting tired of repeating this again and again to every editor that envisions the region as ethnically Macedonian. I know you really hate this true, but there are Greeks, Bulgarians, Albanians, Serbians etc living in it, and ethnic Macedonians are not even a majority. What's the problem with sharing. And don't start again with the "reliable" source you have - as you can read in the relevant discussion page I looked it up and wee it turned out to be a big joke. You want a source when you yourself do not provide one. I see you have quite a history of similiar edits so I guess I should not be surprised. --Laveol T 04:31, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So as far as I understand you - you say that a video link is sufficient enough as a source? So here it is. And Slavi Trifonov is definetly famous enough, at least in regional form in the Balkans. And here you can see the official album with the song. As for the history of your edits - you can just go through your talk page. --Laveol T 14:14, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Punk in Yugoslavia (book).jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Punk in Yugoslavia (book).jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:25, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Laboratorija zvuka single cover.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ricky81682 (talk) 06:49, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Bastion Works and Reworks 2006.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bastion Works and Reworks 2006.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Thanks for uploading Image:Artisticka radna akcija New wave Punk compilation Yugoslavia.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

You've uploaded File:PGP-RTB Record label logo Yugoslavia.jpg, and indicated that it's used under Wikipedia's rules for non-free images. However, it's not presently used in any articles.
