June 2014[edit]

Hello, I'm Excirial. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Texas Military Forces Museum, with this edit without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the page's content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 18:49, 9 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi Excirial, thank you for your message. Either you must be wrong or I did something I hadn't meant to do. I deleted all content of my personal sandbox. The content of Texas Military Forces Museum, which I just created, is available still. Can you confirm please. Thank you, best regards --Chris.w.braun (talk) 18:53, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
Hi Excirial, I just noticed something went terribly wrong – my fault – and not my intention. This has never happened to me before and I apologize for any inconvenience. Can you "undo" my last "delete" of the article "Texas Military Forces Museum"? --Chris.w.braun (talk) 18:59, 9 June 2014 (UTC)

Photos of Japanese tanks and AFV's[edit]

I see you do quite a bit of uploading of Japan government war-time photos for Wikipedia articles. They being public domain according to article 23 of old copyright law of Japan (English translation) and article 2 of supplemental provision of copyright law of Japan. One you uploaded was for the Type 98 20 mm AAG Tank article. I was hoping you might add a photo for that article as to the prior single gun prototype which was designated the Type 98 Ta-Se. I found a photo of it on Taki's Imperial Japanese Army Page, which is also cited in the Wikipedia article. Others that need photos are: Type 5 To-Ku, Type 95 So-Ki, F B, Type 1 Ho-Ki, Type 98 20 mm AA Half-Track Vehicle, Ho-Ri II, variant under the Type 5 Chi-Ri article. I know Taki's has photos he has used on these tanks and vehicles. If you don't want to do it, let me know. I would do it myself but at this time don't have experience in the upload process. Cheers, Kierzek (talk) 14:08, 14 October 2016 (UTC)

Hi Kierzek, indeed I try to find images for all weapons, equipment and units of IJA and IJN, but it's not easy. I will keep looking for the vehicles you mentioned and hopefully find some images soon. Cheers, --Chris.w.braun (talk) 14:13, 14 October 2016 (UTC)
Thanks, that will really help those articles for readers. Taki's should be a good source. Kierzek (talk) 15:20, 14 October 2016 (UTC)
Hi Kierzek, I covered Type 95 So-Ki, F B, Type 1 Ho-Ki, but can't find any images of the others. If you have a link please post it here. Thanks, --Chris.w.braun (talk) 15:15, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
Yes, good work so far. I have to leave for the afternoon, but try: Taki’s Imperial Japanese Army Page; here is one more I found without a photo: Chiyoda armored car. Kierzek (talk) 15:53, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
