My edits to london bus route list
I feel that my edits are necessary as there is different areas that buses terminate especially during the summer months. Please allow these edits — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lawsj123 (talk • contribs) 21:08, 28 September 2015 (UTC)
Hi, The areas where you've added where the buses terminate is not needed, as it is not shown on the blinds of the buses on the route, however these places are listed on the route's Individual page on Wikipedia (If there is one on that route) so it isnt needed. The List of bus routes in London page only displays what the buses operating on the route's blinds show.
Also, a quick word of advice: Please remember to sign your posts on talk pages. There is a button below that says "Sign your posts on talk pages", click on the button next to that when you have finished writing your post, so we know who its from before SineBot has to do it for you. I have left a notice on your talk page so you know how to do it.

No need to nominate something like that for deletion. It was a pure advert. Such pages can be speedy deletion tagged. Cheers. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 10:39, 4 October 2015 (UTC)
- Oh ok, I thought it would be brought to admin attention by nominating it for deletion. As it was the first time I've had to nominate something for deletion, i didn't know whether to do an AfD or a Speedy Deletion Class455fan1 (talk) 10:42, 4 October 2015 (UTC)
- No worries. :) Yes, something that promotional is clearly an advert. Definitely speedy tag. Best, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 10:45, 4 October 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for the helpful advice, as a result I'm going to award you the Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar Class455fan1 (talk) 11:02, 4 October 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for the barnstar, I don't look at my user page much and blank it frequently, I don't like too much decoration.
I am not sure if I have consensus to continue with them. I understand your thinking the R's are useless, and many at WP:RFD would agree, currently we have about 80,000 from one editor (stet: eighty thousand) that we are going through there. I only have to go through about half the rest of these as I came to a stop when another editor started reverting, and neither that editor nor me has progressed neither to revert nor to progress.
If it's OK (and you're welcome to copy this to whatever talk page is appropriate) I shall complete the job I started, turning the redirects to make sure they all use {{R from London bus route|nnn}}
}. Some were in no category, some were in odd categories. I am ambivalent on whether they are useful and I'm intending, once they're consistent, to make it take a bus stop via {{R from list topic}}
and {{R to section}}
, but I think by getting them all consolidated under one heading, that would be much easier to argue the case for or against, the only downside is a little work on my part to put them all in one cat. I have a plan there, because I am adding the numbers in, is that I am going to make the {{R from London bus route}}
temporarily redirect into a new category, a subcategory of the existing one, Category:Redirects from numbered London bus routes or somesuch, so that we know exactly which ones I have done with the numbers, and which are waifs and strays. In the template I can do this with a switch on whether the number is provided as a parameter. I do have a plan, you see, but it is my fault that I didn't make it clear. Si Trew (talk) 23:05, 20 November 2015 (UTC)
- Hi SimonTrew, keep doing what you're doing, it is great! I said i don't like redirects in general because in my opinion, i think every London bus route page should have some detail! I added detail for the 434, spending about 3 hours working on that page but it got reverted back to the redirect for "not being notable". I was very angry at that time, but its ok to finish the job you were doing! Thanks for your contributions to the article! Class455fan1 (talk) 00:32, 21 November 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks, I've done about 30 this evening. I'm quite happy to discuss whether these are useful or not, or in which way they are useful, but at least if they are in one place it's easier for both sides to argue about them. Found several that were not Rcatted at all or hard categorized so kinda not within the realm of WikiProject London Transport or whatever it is, which now wll come within their all-seeing eyes. This computer is quick, the laptop I have really slow, but I do edit them manually which means first, I do check that it's sensible and second, I do make mistakes sometimes. Si Trew (talk) 00:36, 21 November 2015 (UTC)
- I did one for route 434. They are useful because they automatically scroll down to the place where the route is rather than redirecting to the top of the page. I may help you and do some tomorrow, but i am very busy though. I am in WikiProject London Transport. Should i put this in the "To Do" area? Class455fan1 (talk) 00:39, 21 November 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Problems
- On September 29 users' skin preferences were removed by mistake on small and medium-sized wikis. This changed preferences back to Vector. Restoring all data would cause even more problems. Affected users who want to have their preference changed back globally can ask for it as a comment on Phabricator task T119206 until December 21 2015. [7]
- Some scheduled tasks were not working properly from September to recently. This meant some pages in the special pages namespace were not updated. It has now been fixed. [8]

- Cross-wiki notifications are being developed. When this is done you will not have to go to the wiki where something happened to be notified. [12]

I believe your change was unnecessary
A) I didn't ask a question about how to play the game, I made a statement about information that is incorrect on the article page. B) I didn't make a change to the actual page, I posted it to the talk page, because, you know, I wanna talk about it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2crudedudes (talk • contribs) 00:29, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
- Hi 2crudedudes, Sorry, i thought you were asking people a good loot raid strategy with Goblins, not that you wanted to edit the article. You can add this info to the article where necessary if you think its incorrect. Please accept my apologies. However, please remember to sign your post on talk pages. I will leave a reminder for you on your talk page. Thanks Class455fan1 (talk to me) 07:51, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
