Stubs

[edit]

Thank you for your recent edit to Favartia natalensis, but please take care not to add {{stub}} to an article which already has a specific stub tag, and remember that all stub tags go at the foot of the article, not the top - see WP:ORDER. Thanks. PamD 19:00, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

4 vs 4im

[edit]

Hi, I'm not sure if this was purposeful but you gave a level 4im warning after a level 4 warning.

Please note that level 4im warnings are meant to be only warnings and 4s are meant to be final. It's either or, not both.

Thanks and happy editing :D --Ferien (talk) 19:56, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Ferien: Ah, thank you for the clarification; I wasn't exactly sure what it meant seeming as how they are next to each other in the selection. I'd assume that one should flag the user if vandalism continues after a level 4 warning, in that case. Thanks :) Closingbracket (talk) 20:00, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, it's 1, 2, 3, 4 then report. Or 4im then report. :) --Ferien (talk) 20:01, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

[edit]

Thank you for adding the IMDb source to my edit on Steve Pendleton. I truly appreciate it. SbbPendlton (talk) 20:05, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@SbbPendlton: Yes, that's fine; thanks for including the source in your comment, though adding sources is helpful. Thanks, happy editing :) Closingbracket (talk) 20:09, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

The BFG edit

[edit]

I don't understand why my edit was tagged as vandalism - the Fleshlumpeater clearly stated this in the movie. Could you tell me why? Thanks. 92.237.102.75 (talk) 20:17, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@92.237.102.75: Apologies, this was my mistake; I was reviewing another edit - of actual vandalism - and mixed it up with yours. I've removed the warning from your talk page and you may undo my revert. Sorry, thank you, and happy editing Closingbracket (talk) 20:27, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. And I accept your apology :) 92.237.102.75 (talk) 21:35, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What is wrong with my edit?

[edit]

Hello, I saw that you reverted my edits because of MOS issues, but could you please explain to me what the specific issues are? I now know about the COI notice but what about the other changes I made to the article in the Features section? -- Cosmic (talk) 03:36, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, this is a known issue with the reverting system, however the information that was accidentally removed has since been replaced by other editors, and you received no warning with the revert. Thank you, Closingbrackettalk 12:48, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I've just re-inspected the case now. I'd ask that you read Wikipedia's actual guidelines on conflict of interest, as well as the guidelines on harassment and identification. In regards to your edit being reverted, see my previous message; I do not believe any further action is required there on your part. Thanks, Closingbrackettalk 14:09, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why didn't you stop Karinacf 😭😭😭

[edit]
You don't remember when you reverted one random edit back in 2021. You reverted the edits, then LET HIM MAKE THE SAME EDITS AGAIN. He absolutely ruined the Boy Wonder (producer) article for three years. I was going to propose a deletion before I looked at the revision history. You should've stopped Karinacf 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Roasted (talk) 10:00, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
