Extreme Engineering
Sorry if you didn't care for my edit. However, there is already an article about the episodes. 98.248.61.157 (talk) 01:33, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
Amazing that people continue to spread the false science of man-made global warming and ignore orbital essentricty, obliquity, and precession along with maunder cycles and thermohaline circulation. Ever wonder why there was a dark ages followed by the midievil warm period? Weather cycles change on their own and humans have very little to do with it. Stop being part of the problem. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.134.124.10 (talk) 22:12, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
Attempt to file FalsePositive
Upon attempt to file, was redirected to your talk page instead. Would like to get the issue resolved in order to remove the ClueBot destructive edit removed from my talk page. Werefaw (talk) 06:22, 4 August 2010 (UTC)

Underwater glass laboratory
I think ClueBot needs one. Let the cold air go through the glass and keep him cold so he doesn't overheat. mechamind90 22:45, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
WP:Introduction
Can you please prevent ClueBot II from clearing WP:Introduction like it did today. The page has been semi-protected and is not used as a sandbox anymore. Thnak you.--Forty two—▮▮ 07:35, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
Help with archive Talk:PhpGedView
The archived portion of the talk page, here, is not accessible from the main talk. Figured I'd see if someone could fix it rather than just linking to it directly. --Ronz (talk) 16:45, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
- Fixed by Cobi. Thanks! --Ronz (talk) 00:56, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
I just got a vandalism warning for a standard rename
Huh?--Chris (クリス • フィッチ) (talk) 08:46, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
- Unfortunately normal for ClueBot. mechamind90 22:11, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
Two automatic warnings for one edit?!
I noticed that both DASHBot and ClueBot respectively issued warnings for a single edit as a DASHBot #1 amd a ClueBot #2. This should probably be fixed. mechamind90 22:11, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
Cluebot
Can I please get Cluebot (the anti-vandalism bot)? It must be worth a lot of "Jimbo dollars"! Hazard-SJ Talk 23:40, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
Bugs with archiving
Hi, yesterday I set up Wikipedia:WikiProject Resource Exchange/Resource Request to be archived by ClueBot III. Specifically it was to archive level 4 (====) sections which contained {{resolved}} or {{done}} templates into by year archives (2010, 2009 etc) . ClueBot picked this up, but its first atttempt at archiving had some problems.
- First it archived things to /1999 instead of /2010. I used
format=Y
which according to the documentation should have produced a four-digit year. - Second, some of the archived sections happened to end immediately before a level 3 header, which also got archived as part of the thread. Eg in this example
===February 2010=== ... ====Section to be archived==== text ===March 2010=== ====New section====
the header 'March 2010' would get included when 'section to be archived' got archived. This appears to be because the bot is taking a section as being from one header of headerlevel
to the next one, rather than to the next or greater one.
- Thirdly, when converting a template with a numbered parameter to the {{tl version, it doesn't change the number of the parameter, which leads to it being broken. E.g. {{resolved|1=per [url with = sign]}} becomes {{resolved}}. The
1=
needs to be changed to2=
.
If you could resolve all of these issues that would be great, however the first two, and especially the first, are the main ones. I haven't yet fixed the archived threads, for your ease of debugging. Dr pda (talk) 22:11, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
- And is it possible to set a new parameter into the bot, that allows a three-day delay on archiving. So that the bot reads the date of the set <done>-mark and archives the section three days after that? Because all the users, who edited the thread, should have a time to read the closed section before archiving. Thank you very much, Doc Taxon (talk) 06:02, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
I just got a warning for adding a football player on loan
I don't see what I did wrong; all I did was copy and paste a player's name (Nick Rogan) onto Chester F.C.'s player list and move it into his position. I then got a message saying it was removed because it contained obscenities which I don't understand. --Exodus94 (talk) 16:09, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry about that. One of the bot's heuristics failed. I'll see about correcting it. -- Cobi(t|c|b) 21:06, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

A good catch by ClueBot.
"Who gives a shit halo is for faggots"' is definitely the work of an expletive deleted
.
Faggots, meaning meatballs could be described by Animalists (Animal Rights Activists) as containing Shit, i.e. offal and Shit could be described as looking like faggots in certain medical texts. A similar sentence structure could come up somewhere.
I just noticed this one on the off chance but am willing to contribute some of my time to resolving any ambiguities that occur. Send a list to my Userpage and or notifications to my watchlist and I'll do what I can.
Advice needed for work at Robbie Mannheim
We are working on cleaning up the article Robbie Mannheim. (Sorry, I don't know how to make an active link here anymore.) Two of us editing there keep deleting citation notes and we want them deleted. But we need help doing this correctly and efficiently. A concensus has been reached about this already but we need help!75.21.149.122 (talk) 14:46, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- There do seem to be too many refs and too much info in the refs. Try changing to Wikipedia:Inline citations. I will select for false positive. Good Luck.Angry Mustelid (talk) 18:45, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
Wrong User?
Cluebot gave me a random warning for an edit which supposedly happened last month. I didn't even do the edit and have no idea who did. Did ClueBot place this on my talk page (my IP page) by accident? --92.17.23.224 (talk) 11:52, 25 August 2010 (UTC)

Reverted edit
Cluebot reverted my edit after I removed information from main article "Carrie Underwood". The information was simply moved to User:MusicAgain/CarrieUnderwoodAppearances. The new article will be made public once it reaches quality standards, but I don't want to make it public before then or it will be deleted. My efforts were not meant as vandalism, but rather an attempt to clean up the article, and make things easier for people to find. MusicAgain (talk) 16:56, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
