Ways to improve Clark Advanced Learning Center

[edit]

Hello, CrownKing0wl,

Thank you for creating Clark Advanced Learning Center.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

I appreciate the work put into this stub. The school exists and is verifiable, but I've done a reasonable WP:BEFORE and this subject doesn't seem to have many reliable secondary sources which describe and assert any significance. Not every secondary school is sufficiently notable for inclusion in an encyclopedia.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|BusterD}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

I appreciate your continuing to improve the page. I merely tagged the page as lacking reliable sources, I don't have much opinion about the subject's notability myself. In deletion discussions, high schools are frequently kept, if sourced. This last source isn't ideal because it calls itself "reader submitted" and is generally promotional in tone. We're looking for local newspaper or media coverage, possibly a journal article with more than a bare mention. We need at least two. Thanks for your ongoing efforts. BusterD (talk) 17:03, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I've added two good ones from Stuart News. Now we'd be looking for something with a different publisher and location for diversity of sources. But you should be good on notability now. If I can be helpful please call on me. BusterD (talk) 17:31, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome. BusterD (talk) 17:50, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

EDITS

[edit]

Hello, and welcome. I want to inform you that your recent contribution to DC Defenders have been reverted because it is unsourced Uricdivine (talk) 16:31, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Add citations to edits you make in the future thanks. Uricdivine (talk) 16:32, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Are you okay?

[edit]

I didn't notice until just now but you had posted on your talk page yesterday to delete the account, but reverted that edit today. Is everything okay? I could delete your user page if you need that done, but your talk page must remain, though I could courtesy blank that if you wanted to vanish. Your account could be WP:VANISHed if you wish. Protecting our editors from outing is something we take seriously so let me know if we can help. BusterD (talk) 15:20, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yeah I am fine sorry about that. I honestly have no idea what's going on. I mean I want to help improve articles here but, at the same time, I feel like Wikipedia may be starting to become a distraction for me. I just do not know what to do at this point. Any advice? CrownKing0wl (talk) 15:24, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You are talking to the right person. Wikipedia IS a distraction and can eat up your day, especially if you find you really like working collaboratively with others. I have been around since 2005 and there have been months in which I didn't edit at all and some in which I was making a hundred or more edits a day. I wrote an essay about willingness at WP:PACE because I saw burnout as being a problem for many editors. If you are a student, you can find editing may mess with your priorities. What is most important is taking care of yourself first, then helping out prioritized somewhere after that. I often find the entire pedia as being like The Matrix (sooo much to process, and without all the kung fu). Don't need to apologize for self-care; that tells me lots (of good things) about you as a human being. Don't ever feel alone and remember to ask for help. You can call on me anytime (though I do sleep and work and well, you know). BusterD (talk) 15:45, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2023–24 Florida Panthers season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Atlantic Division. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

The above article lacks any WP:SIGCOV in reliable, independent sources. Accordingly, in its current state, it does not appear to pass either WP:GNG or WP:NSEASONS. Rather than taking it to WP:AFD right away, I am notifiying you to see if you can add such SIGCOV to the article. If not, this really should be deleted or redirected.
