Do Not Remove AfD Notices

[edit]

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of an article, you may comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. After Midnight 0001 04:28, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Aubrey O'Day.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Aubrey O'Day.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Speedy deletion of Yeah (Kelly Clarkson song)

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Yeah (Kelly Clarkson song), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

no sources, only rumors, nothing has been released or confirmed by artist management

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

An editor has nominated the article Kelly Clarkson's third studio album for deletion, under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the nomination (also see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on why the topic of the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome: participate in the discussion by editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kelly Clarkson's third studio album. Add four tildes like this ˜˜˜˜ to sign your comments. You can also edit the article Kelly Clarkson's third studio album during the discussion, but do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top of the article), this will not end the deletion debate. Danity Kane singles

[edit]

Please stop wasting everyone's time by posting the same unverified content over and over again. When and if a single is announced on a reliable source (ie. not something you heard on a web forum), an article can be made for that single. Simply posting speculation isn't useful. - Bobet 13:32, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously, stop it. The next time you've nothing more to add than something that you just know without any source to back up, just don't do it. You've already stated that three different danity kane songs will be their third single, shouldn't that tell you something about the validity of your sources? Your edits will just get reverted and you'll get blocked when people run out of patience with you. - Bobet 17:12, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Screw you freakin Bobet! Ha you're a joke!

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the User:Bobet page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. - Bobet 00:01, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Danity Kane ... Danity Kane (album) ... whatever

[edit]
  1. Once again: Don't post so-called "upcoming third singles" without citing sources. Remember: A board or poll is no official confirmation. (How often do you change your mind? Once it was "One Shot", followed-up by "Want It", than it was "Heartbreaker", and "Hold Me Down", not it is "Touching My Body" ... You just can't wait?)
  2. Section like "Tentative singles" are non-essential for an article ...
  3. I'm gettin' tired of reverting your changes ... so: stop!

- Noboyo - February, 2007

P.S.: You don't need to log out to post bullish ...

Orphaned non-free image (Image:MyDecember.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:MyDecember.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 06:27, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
