Too many "Internet Book List" external links on Nancy Drew article[edit]

Hi! I notice you added six "Internet Book List" external links to the Nancy Drew article. I have reduced these to one link. I also removed the internal link to the article on the Internet Book List. The Nancy Drew article is about Nancy Drew, not the Internet Book List. Glad to discuss! -- Sitearm | Talk 01:51, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Dates[edit]

Hi, when you put a date (day month year) avoid the format 2/3/1999 because while in the US and (I think) French speaking Canada ti would be 3rd Feb, anywhere else it would be 2nd March. Preferred formats are 2 March 2001 , March 2,2001 or 2001-03-02 , but as long as it's not ambiguous don't worry too much. Rich Farmbrough 12:32, 13 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:WithLasersBondeDoRolealbumcover.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:WithLasersBondeDoRolealbumcover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 20:42, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:PushAndPullCruiserweightalbumcover.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:PushAndPullCruiserweightalbumcover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello D rholambda! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 941 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the unreferencedBLP tag. Here is the article:

 1. Wendelin Van Draanen - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

The article Catherine Kidwell has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A "little-known" novelist who scored a "minor" success with a single novel. Appears to fail the notability guideline for authors.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
