Editing with a possible conflict of interest

@SamHolt6: Hello, I'm brand new to this and I apologize for my mistakes, but have read as much as I could about how to communicate on the Talk page. Hopefully it works?

First I want to apologize for not responding to your message above. Unfortunately I had a personal problem and have not been online for the past 3-4 weeks :-( Like I wrote in a reply to another person, I have absolutely no personal or professional affiliation with Ms.Daiane Sodre. When I decided to create a WP article about her, I browsed 100's of images to see if I could find a royalty free image to use. Since I didn't find any, I ended up writing to the photographer asking if I could use his image for the article. He responded that the image is from 2012, so since it's an older image he would have no problem with me using it for the article and he gave his authorization. If the image is violating any WP rules, I'll be happy to remove it. Just FYI, I'm also editing the text for it to be more neutral as well I have been researching more about Ms.Daiane Sodre and will add more information to the article as well as source references and links. Hello Dan, I noticed you rejected my article, but did not leave a reason. I communicated with another Editor who flagged my article due to suspected COI. He noticed that the image I have used is from an established Photographer and thus flagged. Like I wrote to him, I have absolutely no affiliation with the subject of my article, Ms.Daiane Sodre. I browsed 100's and 100's of images of Ms.Sodre, but couldn't find any license free images to use. In the end I wrote to the Photographer of an image I liked and asked if he would give me the authorization to use it on WP. He wrote back to me, that the image is from 2012 so he has no problems with me using it and gave the authorization.
This is my first time on WP and I'm working very hard (including trying to translate foreign language articles about her) to get all sources listed and follow the WP directions in regards to being neutral and informative. Just today I edited the text and added more information as well as References and External Links. Please let me know what else I can do in order to move forward and hopefully get my article published on WP. I really appreciate your help!DaiPedia2018 (talk) 22:40, 16 January 2019 (UTC)
