Manchester City squad

[edit]

Hello,

Question about your two recent changes to the Man City squads;

--OZOO (t) (c) 12:10, 1 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello mate,
Not sure about how to work this talk page fully yet, but okay, previously Marlos Moreno wore the Number 29 shirt for Atlético Nacional for his 2 seasons there, when he signed for City in 2016 he then acquired such number from Richard Wright and therefore still is registered with this number. Like Luke Brattan was registered with Number 47 when he joined but since Phil Foden has taken it, his squad number is now unknown as we don't know what new number he has been registered under. As no one has taken Number 29 whilst Moreno has been out on loan, therefore he is still registered under that number. Nwakali was pictured next to Wilfried Bony wearing Squad Number 45 and still owns such number, Duhaney used this number in the EFL Cup but since has reverted back to 81 allowing Nwakali to stay registered under 45. And Agyepong according to http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/manchester-city/leihspieler/verein/281 which is a site I have trusted and know is extremely reliable as Manchester City have been known to use themselves. I also have an Excel Database and have so for the last 4 seasons of all going on with every Man City Player from the 1 year scholars and U16s all the way to the First Team, to loans and contract expirees and all things been constantly refined and kept 100% reliable and up to date.
Hope you now understand now, Cheers!

OK, so; in terms of Moreno / Nwakali; I have not seen anything to suggest their registration with those numbers in the first place, and I would note that the mancity.com squad number list (which includes some players who have been on season-long loan all summer, like Manu García and Thierry Ambrose) has them both absent. I am not sure we can say for sure that Moreno is #29 because he had it at Nacional; since he hasn't had it at Deportivo or Girona, so it doesn't look for sure like a favoured number thing. Re: Nwakali, if you know where this picture of him and Bony is located, the # can be added no argument.
Re: Agyepong - As far as I can see Transfermarkt is not regarded as a reliable source, per previous discussions at WikiProject Football and the Reliable Sources noticeboard. So I'm not sure we should add him to the first team on the basis of that when he doesn't have a number and has never played for the first team. OZOO (t) (c) 15:36, 1 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Registered with whom? The only register I can see as a Reliable source is the Premier League list, which does not include, and as far as I know has never included, Brattan, Caceres, Mari or Kayode, with Luiz and Agyepong included on the youngsters list. A Reliable source is needed to say that these players should be considered part of the first team. Transfermarkt is not considered reliable. OZOO (t) (c) 12:20, 5 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"my sources are all reliable! "

[edit]

May I ask what your sources are for the added squad numbers and the "registered first team"? OZOO (t) (c) 15:17, 20 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

- Hi, I check every few hours the instagrams for (transfers and squad numbers), citywatch for (transfers and gossip)and have a family member that works within the club that has explained to me where each player should technically belong and I use that to gauge where they sit.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Manchester City F.C. EDS and Academy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gloucester City. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
