Repairing dead links

Scuse me but why do you bother fixing links at quack dog articles only? I would suggest you go to other articles too... Wikipedia:WikiProject Latin America is in great need of link fix, for example. Hafspajen (talk) 15:02, 1 November 2014 (UTC)

I am a dog lover, I thought that contribution to dog articles is also needed? Is it wrong to start with dog articles?Darkonni (talk) 15:22, 1 November 2014 (UTC)

• Hi Darkonni, welcome and happy editing. Repairing dead links to sources in articles is a worthy task to undertake. If they are not updated they can be lost forever and articles can become badly unsourced. It seems natural to me that you are editing in an area you are fond of. Woof dogs ツ. If you look at my user and talk page, you will see I am quite fond of cats. Meow cats ツ. So I watch over the cat articles and help keep them up to date. I am sorry you have been bitten as a newcomer.
