Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Drmies (talk) 01:47, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your information I did add summaries on some pages but I'll make sure I get it right thank you. Darnitol95 (talk) 01:52, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a chat room

[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages (including user talk pages) are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. They are not for general discussion about the article topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Unreliable sources

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, your own website, websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight, expressing views that are widely acknowledged as extremist, that are promotional in nature, or that rely heavily on rumors and personal opinions, as one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. If you require further assistance, please look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 18:18, 21 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I agree what you said but I'm trying my best I'll make sure find the right sources I'm sorry I apologize for any inconvenience. Darnitol95 (talk) 20:06, 21 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ohnoitsjamie my question is if I continue to add unsourced I will be blocked for that and I don't wanna be blocked because I tried not to add unsourced I was just asking? Darnitol95 (talk) 20:30, 21 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to List of people banned from Major League Baseball. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use your sandbox. Thank you. – Muboshgu (talk) 01:35, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Muboshgu well I didn't lie about what Carlos Beltrán did he was the master of cheating on baseball so that's is violation of Major League Baseball I know is unsourced but I'm be honest about what he did back in 2017 with the Houston Astros when he was the player not a coach or manager it was already on the report what should I do I'm waiting for an answer? Darnitol95 (talk) 03:30, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You wrote that's why he's banned by Manfred to be the coach any team and that is not true. Don't add things that are false into articles. – Muboshgu (talk) 03:53, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I get it but I watch the video what happened in the news and was also uploaded on YouTube that Manfred said Carlos Beltrán was the only player name of Sign Stealing scandal from Astros is already reported 2 years ago but I agree, I have to add good sources, instead of unsourced thanks for letting me know Muboshgu. Darnitol95 (talk) 04:25, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
