Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Davethedrummer909, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Speedy deletion nomination of Henry Nicholas Cullen
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Henry Nicholas Cullen requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Fram (talk) 14:20, 30 August 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Notable people who have edited Wikipedia). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Request reason:
The deleted page or article I created was accidental, I've not used Wikipedia much and I thought I was creating another sandbox article. The article was intended to form part of a group of articles hoping to bridge a gap in Wikipedias hitory about something that I have a lot of working knowledge in. Perhaps I started in the wrong way though. I wasn't exactly sure how to get started and didn't realise the content team would be quite so jonny on the spot about deleteion and blocking if a new article was not correct. But I can see why now of course.
My Plan Was:
I am an artist ( D.A.V.E. The Drummer ) and as such I cited that I might have a conflict of intrest here, but I was never intending this to be promotion for myself. Of course just being mentioned online for any artist does have a promotional value, but this was not why I was writing my article.
To make things clear, I am a part of a large group of (mostly UK) electronic music, and techno music artists. I am connected to many record labels and DJs within a very well known but also quite underground scene of people based in London and also worldwide. The group is based around the music genre Acid techno.
First off, I was intending to create and connect articles about the artists mentioned, in the music genre page Acid Techno:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acid_techno
I am named on this page along with many of my associates, several others are missing, I was hoping to get round to that later. My plan was to construct a simple page about myself first (which I did in the sandbox) and then try to create articles for the missing links. ( the ones coloured in red )
There were several elements missing, but I know that if those articles existed, they would be found by others and added to and linked to other articles. making a much more complete history of this particluar style of music and the Djs and record labels involbved and where they came from. We are all connected with: squatting, punk rock, archo punk, acid techno, illegal warehouse parties, Free tekno, Freetekno, Teknival, Free Party, Acid techno, and DIY culture in general.
Firstly after creating my article about D.A.V.E. the Drummer which I was about to move out of the sandbox, I wanted to write about the Liberator DJs ( I am not in this group but I worked with them and I know them very well ) they are mentioned on this page:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Peel_Sessions
This artclee was intended to link to my artist artcile as we worked together ( I was producer ) on many releases on their Stay Up Forever record label, which sadly doesn't have an article on Wikipedia (yet) but does have hundreds of releases as show here on discogs, and in my opinion should be here in Wikipedia becauase so many other things link to this record label.
https://www.discogs.com/label/1183-Stay-Up-Forever?page=1
You will see releases dating back to 1991.
Also, I was trying link my real name Henry Cullen ( the offending article, which I didn't finish thinking it was a sandbox ) because I am mentioned as playing for punk reggae "crusty" band Back to The Planet in the late 80s early 90s
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Back_to_the_Planet
Ths article mentions my DJ name.. So this ties in with my earlier history and the Punk and DIY Culture movement again.
Also, band Hagar The Womb https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hagar_the_Womb
Are important because Chris Liberator ( from the Liberator DJs mentioned before ) is still playing for them ( he is now 59) and they have been going since the mid 80s with many cross links with the anarcho punk scene.
Our group of people extends across a variety of DIY based scenes, many of the members starting out in live music and ending up making a or playing electronic music. There is a well known and established connection between Punk and Techno music, many famous techno Djs mention Punk as a starting point for their musicl journey ( Dave Clarke for example )
My aim was simply to start putting the building blocks in place for people to add more as went along, because now members of our group are getting older, some are not with us any more, and I'd lke to at least join us in with the exsisting content here on Wikipedia.
There is a lot more I could write about here, but I hope this is satisfactory to unblock me and allow me to continue with beginning to join together elements of what I feel is an important part of the UKs & dance musics cultural history.
Please feel free to guide me and help me out if I make mistakes, I am trying to read all the documentaion but there is a lot of it and I'm finding the interface as a content creator a little confusing, hence my mistake, but I'm sure I'll get used to it
Many Thanks

Request reason:
Thanks for the response, in that case, could I be unblocked to write about the liberator Djs and those artist I mentioned before, I'll leave it to someone else to write about me. D.A.V.E. The Drummer Davethedrummer909 13:30, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I am reluctant to unblock you, because you say you know the liberator DJs very well. That creates a wp:conflict of interest. Are there any subjects without a personal connection you want to write about? PhilKnight (talk) 18:34, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
