Your contributed article, Crime in Buenos Aires Argentina
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Crime in Buenos Aires Argentina. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Buenos Aires. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Buenos Aires - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Manway (talk) 03:29, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
The article Crime in Buenos Aires Argentina has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Original research, reads like a newspaper editorial.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Blanchardb -Me•MyEars•MyMouth- timed 07:08, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Brain Shrinking
[edit]Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Brain Shrinking, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Brain Shrinking, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Vrenator (talk) 14:56, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Brain Shrinking
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Brain Shrinking requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Brain Shrinking
[edit]Per your request on the talk page I have removed the speedy deletion template to give you a few days to work on it. That being said, I hope you can understand how I thought the article may have been a hoax when it had "People who suffer this condition tend to believe everything they read on the internet and sometimes publish this false information on other pages, even though it may be completely false and slanderous." If you seriously plan to improve the article, please reference it with reliable sources. You may be interested in an article like this which state that a person's brain shrinking actually has no effect on their mental capacity. Anyway, I'm assuming good faith with you and I sincerely hope you do wish to improve the article. Cheers, Jenks24 (talk) 15:05, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
- I have put a speedy tag back on the article. I understand you have started it in good faith but in its current state it is not suitable for Wikipedia. I suggest that you create the artice in your user space and when it is ready move it into the main Wikipedia. Vrenator (talk) 15:08, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Mauricio Macri. Thank you. Dabomb87 (talk) 23:42, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
The material is not poorly referenced or controversial. These are true facts and the fact that editors are trying to delete recent events from Mauricio Macri´s Wikipedia page prove that they are politically linked to him. I have reported this to the public media in Buenos Aires as well as international media. "Cambalachero" and "Dabomob87" are attempting to censor true facts in a public forum.
Davidglen77 thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. There are some rules and policies that must be followed by all editors, it's not a matter of censorship. First, always assume good faith and don't say you're being censored. Second, this is NOT a forum or an anarchy. Third, there are some fundamental policies as neutral point of view, verifiability and not original research. In the case of Mauricio Macri, your edit doesn't comply policies for living persons articles. There are two issues: you saying "I have reported this to the public media", which makes me think its original research. And second you have not included any reference or source. All contribution should be verifiable and supported by a reliable source. In short, it doesn't matter if its true or not. All editors must be able to verify any information, specially on sensible articles like living persons'. If it was a recent information, please wait until the media reflect it and publishes it, so you can use those articles as a source. Thank you. pmt7ar (talk) 01:25, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mauricio Macri. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.
In particular, the three-revert rule states that:
- Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Dabomb87 (talk) 02:41, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
- You have again added material to Mauricio Macri which you have previously been advised was not acceptable under Wikipedia rules because these are unsourced, personal complaints based on your own experiences with the subject. Constantly re-adding the material to the article over the advice of other editors constitutes edit-warring and may make you subject to sanctions. Jonathanwallace (talk) 13:49, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Dabomb87 (talk) 14:27, 25 April 2011 (UTC)During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
Please desist on your unsourced edit at Mauricio Macri, it doesn't comply any of the policies, the most important WP:BLP and WP:V. You'll get blocked again. Please wait until the media reflects that information and only then add it with the appropriate references. Else please give the source of your information to another editor so he can add it following the rules and avoiding WP:COI and WP:OR.pmt7ar (talk) 11:11, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
You have been adding the same section at Mauricio Macri despite being reverted over 8 times. You have been warned, and blocked, and you insist. Unfortunately I cannot think of it as a bold edit or edit warring, you're vandalizing the article. Please desist. You failed on the most basic guidelines of Wikipedia as WP:V, and this is a sensible article where those are not acceptable (see WP:BLP). Your edition will always be reverted. This has nothing to do with bias or conflict of interest by the other editors (it's not a complot or censorship), its being reverted because there is not a single source for validation. I suggest you give the sources to other editor and let him add it to the article (see WP:RS). If you are reverted again I'll request a block for vandalism. pmt7ar (talk) 16:40, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Fences&Windows 16:53, 2 May 2011 (UTC)- I know it's horrible to be robbed and feel that the authorities are doing nothing to help, but Wikipedia is not the place to try to put this right. We neutrally record what published sources write about topics. If there are sources that discuss Macri's record on crime, we can of course include them, but YouTube videos, Facebook pages or personal blogs are not suitable sources, and neither is your own personal experience. Once you recognise this, you can return to editing. Fences&Windows 17:15, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
