Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.
It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}}

The article Info 237 Fall 2012 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Course pages probably should not belong on Wikipedia. It states it as a "class project", and WP:NOTWEBHOST applies.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Thekillerpenguin (talk) 22:50, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
Article for your first review - Now Live!
[edit]Hey! I'm the author of the article you're the first-reviewer of. As of 11:30AM PST 10/18 it is still not up. Apologies! Hopefully I can get it live by around 1PM PST. So sorry for the delay, but watch this space, I'll update when I go live. Kaffyne (talk) 18:31, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
Update: as of 12:07PM PST, the page is live! It's an orphan, as I haven't gotten around to begin drawing in links. I'll do that next time I'm free. Kaffyne (talk) 19:08, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
DYK for Finjan, Inc. v. Secure Computing Corp.
[edit]On 8 November 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Finjan, Inc. v. Secure Computing Corp., which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that software functions that are "locked" and disabled still infringe on patent protection laws? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Finjan, Inc. v. Secure Computing Corp.. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
