Adding Sources / Commander[edit]

When adding sources like you did to Commander (song) it would be appreciated if you could use a template to format the source and fill in the relevant information. Below is a list of several of the templates and when and how you use them. Regards, Lil-unique1 (talk) 16:37, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of BET International, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.medbib.com/BET_UK. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. FYI[edit]

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give BET (UK & Ireland) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. Kelly Rowland (album)[edit]

HMJ Japan also say September 15, 2010. But since Rowland confirmed the album was pushed back to November 2, 2010 in the US and October 29, 2010 in Germany it is highly unlikely that the album will be released over one month earlier in Japan as she's made clear in lots of interviews that she is still recording the album and she herself confirmed to Rap-Up its not coming out till November. It was also confirmed this morning on UK radio. -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 (talk2me) 19:16, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As a side note, when you add sources please add fully expanded sources using {{cite web}}. Do not use bare urls please. -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 (talk2me) 19:03, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

December 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Kelly Rowland discography, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 18:22, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
