[edit]Genre changes
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Music for the Masses, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you to seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 04:35, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Sounds of the Universe, without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 08:34, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
Marking edits as Minor edits
[edit]Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. 220 of Borg 10:52, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at Sounds of the Universe, you may be blocked from editing. Dan56 (talk) 03:12, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
- I'm sure what you're doing is based on a belief that your changes are "right", but subjective interpretations of creative works need to be from critical sources rather than Wikipedia editors or popular opinion among fans. If you're interested in contributing to Wikipedia articles rather than merely changing infobox genres, it is not worth the trouble to continue making unsourced changes like this. Remixes, not requiring separate articles.
[edit]Hi, thanks for your contributions. However I've placed a merge tag on Behind the Wheel 2011, since as far as I know we do not normally have separate articles for remixes. Also when creating a new article, it is good to add a project tag on Talk, like this. Cheers 10:58, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
This is the final warning that you will receive regarding continued genre changing without discussion or sources. If you choose to continue, as you did at Sounds of the Universe, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Dan56 (talk) 22:24, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
