Numenius of Heraclea moved to draftspace

Thank you for creating Characters of the Deipnosophistae. I'd recommend that you flesh out the entries for individual characters, ideally with precise references to secondary sources. Advice

I've kept an eye on Characters of the Deipnosophistae. Here's a small tip that will prevent the page's reference section from getting too long: you should consider establishing Baldwin (1977) as a bibliographical entry and then refer to it with "Author (date) page number" only. Characters of the Deipnosophistae, again

Hi Digitalphilologist, it's me again. I've seen that you removed the content that was merged from Leonides of Elis form the Characters of the Deipnosophistae article. May I ask why you did this? I thought the content added something to the article. In fact, I think each of the characters should be described in more detail than is currently the case. You see, Wikipedia is not a directory of names in ancient literature and, unless you provide more than the characters' names and occupations, I'm not sure this article needs to exist in its current form. I edited it because it was necessary to uniform the content (citation style etc.) to the content of the other characters of the new article. The information is the same and this is the reason why we decided to delete the old article and create a new one with the other characters of the Deipnosophists. The article needs to exist and is going to be expanded with more information.
