What the hell is wrong with you? I left an edit summary. Dohodho (talk) 23:07, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page guidelines

[edit]

Dohodho, Zigzig20s has asked you a couple of times already to stop posting on their talk page. If you post there again, I will block you temporarily for harassment. Solve your problem differently. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 23:00, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

? I'm trying to communicate with them about this issue. So I can't 1) discuss the issue and 2) revert on the page. Then what am I supposed to do exactly? BTW, can you resolve this by reverting the incorrect claim out of Chesky's article? It's ridiculous and obviously violates BLP. Dohodho (talk) 23:02, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You can't badger someone into answering your question. This was a matter for the article talk page to begin with. Drmies (talk) 23:04, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for removing it, although the category "American Jews" is still there. Dohodho (talk) 23:05, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
And yes, you can't break 3R (well you can but you might be blocked) even if you're right, to answer the question you left on my talk page. As I indicated elsewhere, WP:BLPN is a good place to bring this up; a discussion on the actual source/article is best placed on WP:RSN. You may not get your way immediately, you may not get it at all, but discussion is not "banned" or anything like that. As it happens I think I agree with you on the substance and, being an admin, I will act accordingly to protect the BLP, but I have to tell you that you are better off going about it a different way. Happy editing, and I'm glad I didn't have to block you. Zigzig20s will join the discussion elsewhere, maybe; if not, their voice won't be heard. Drmies (talk) 23:08, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
