Speedy deletion nomination of St. Elijah Pioneer Church Museum
[edit]A tag has been placed on St. Elijah Pioneer Church Museum requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - Hello Scope creep. Thanks you for reviewing the Antonietta Grassi article. I worked on it today adding more references and taking out some information that I could not properly reference. You asked me to ping you when that was done. I am not sure if this is the proper place to do that, but if it is I would appreciate if you could give me further feedback. Hello Scope creep. Thanks you for reviewing the Antonietta Grassi article. I worked on it today adding more references and taking out some information that I could not properly reference. I would like to resubmit. You asked me to ping you when that was done. I am not sure if this is the proper place to do that, but if it is I would appreciate if you could give me further feedback.
- Hi @Dongoodes: Resubmit it and I'll re-review it. It certainly looks a lot better and looks ready for mainspace. scope_creepTalk 20:27, 29 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Dongoodes: I had a look at this yesterday. The references on the article are enough to show the article is notable, but there is another problem and that is around bare url's, WP:BAREURLS. Can you convert the references into full citations. Take a look at WP:REFB which is a small tutorial on how to do it. If you need a hand give me a shout. scope_creepTalk 08:12, 31 May 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Scope creep: I reformatted all the references in the Antonietta Grassi article. If I understood correctly the urls must appear after url=. Is that correct? Could you take a look? I would appreciate that. If there are further problems, I look forward to hearing all about them :-) For one thing, I didn't know if it was okay to use ibid and op.cit. for web references. I suspect they are limited to books... Anyway hoping everything is in order now. Thanks! Dongoodes (talk) 02:55, 10 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Dongoodes: That is much better looking now and ready for mainspace. scope_creepTalk 08:09, 10 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Dongoodes: I've mainspaced it. It pretty decents. Ibids and op. cites aren't used here. Ibids are certainly. I think they are going out of fashion. Full citations on every please. scope_creepTalk 08:13, 10 June 2023 (UTC)
