Speedy deletion nomination of Louisiana Highway 480

[edit]

Hello Dragon Rap221,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Louisiana Highway 480 for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Surfer43 (talk) 01:17, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

GNIS

[edit]

Hi-You are doing a good job with the Louisiana unincorporated communities. You need to look at the Geographic Names Information System-GNIS. I added the GNIS citation to the articles you started. Articles need citations. You are doing a good job with the info boxes something I could not figure out. Many thanks-RFD (talk) 23:05, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Houma

[edit]

Hi. I'm not sure what you were trying to do with the Houma, Louisiana article - I presume improve the infobox. However your edits replaced existing photo with blank link, added the curious claim that the proper name is "de Houma" (I haven't heard that, would like to see a citation if this is so) and other problems, so I have reverted your recent edit to the article. Thanks for your attention; you might wish to compare versions before and after you edit if you were not aware of the problems you introduced. [edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Logansport, Louisiana, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Serve (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Changing user name

Moving your user page to a new name will not rename your account. See Wikipedia:Changing username for procedure. -- Infrogmation (talk) 17:43, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Harmon, Louisiana has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wholly unreliably sourced boilerplate 1-sentence substub from Dragon Rap221 (talk · contribs)/Dragonrap2 (talk · contribs), a sock-puppeteer with a record of deleted bad Louisiana "unincorporated community" articles. Uncle G (talk) 08:30, 18 November 2023 (UTC)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Also:

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
