Thanks for the help on Adolescent Sexuality article

Hi, thanks for your comments. I'm useless at this. We have to choose a topic and edit everything relevant about that topic on wiki for school... very exhausting, time consuming and confusing. My prof wants us to edit in sandbox so she can mark us, however I'm wondering how to put all my edits that I did on sandbox up on the relevant pages when it comes time to do so. Sometimes I moved things to make the flow better (I didn't delete to my knowledge... hopefully I didn't by accident) - am I allowed to move paragraphs? I think you said I can't cut/paste, so I am leaning towards no, however do you know an easier way to put all my edits up at once without doing every tiny detail one at a time? That's weird, I'll have to look into that. Thanks for letting me know. All I can think is that it's because it's a user page although I think we've had a user page or two since the bot has been in use. Right got to the bottom of it and it is indeed nothing to do with it being a user page and is instead due to the space between sandbox and the pipe in your listing - sandbox |action=history. I suspect the reason I haven't come across this before is because most people just copy and paste from the tag and their is no space there. As a short term fix I've removed the space. As a longer term fix I'll add making it robust to this to my list of things to do in my next bot coding session. Dpmuk (talk) 03:26, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

Additionally you should be aware that G12 and a copyvio listing are different things. Copyvio is generally used for more complicated issues - non-infringing history, possible permission etc, where as obvious copyvios with no non-infringing history can be G12'd using the {{db-g12}} template. Oh, you definitely did nothing wrong with the listing but it's impossible to think of every way someone may list beforehand and program the bot to cope with them all. Also the bot was put together in a bit of a hurry and although it was properly tested I didn't spend much time thinking up odd cases. Given the number of listing it was obvious we were missing due to users not listing them (we're still working through the backlog) I thought the probability of slightly unusual things like this occurring was acceptable - better something is listed twice than not at all. Anyway as I say it's on my list of things to do. Really do need to try to find the time to do it as there are a few little things that need changing. Dpmuk (talk) 03:35, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
