Prachi Gupta is an award-winning writer based in New York. Formerly, she was a senior reporter at [[1]] and co-host of Jezebel's former politics podcast, Big Time Dicks. She won a 2020 Writers Guild Award for Outstanding Writing in the Digital News category for her investigative essay, "Stories About My Brother." Prachi covered the 2016 election for Cosmopolitan.com, where she interviewed Ivanka Trump on her paid leave policy proposal, interviewed former First Lady Michelle Obama on her first solo trip to the Middle East, and traveled to Jordan to report on the refugee crisis. She has also written for Marie Claire, the Washington Post Magazine, Salon, and Elle. Her book about Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is available via Workman Publishing.

Gupta frequently serves as a moderator, host, and panelist in discussions about politics, feminism, race, and more. She offered commentary on Ivanka Trump in a Channel 4 Documentary and in October 2017, she hosted the New York Immigration Coalition's 30th Anniversary Gala honoring former US Attorney Preet Bharara and UNITE HERE's Maria Elena Durazo. In 2018, she interviewed writer Andrew Solomon about his bestselling book, The Noonday Demon, at an event hosted by New York's First Lady Chirlane McCray.
