You need to discuss on article talkpages, not just revert...[edit]

You reverted without discussion Category:American people of Rûm Greek-Levantine descent, Category:American people of Levantine-Greek Orthodox Christian descent, Category:People of Rûm Greek-Levantine descent and Category:People of Levantine-Greek Orthodox Christian descent. And even though you warned this editor, it is not clear that 89.6.24.31 is a vandal. Wikipedia is edited through consensus, you need to work with other editors even though you might disagree with them. WP:3RR is a Wikipedia rule that all Wikipedia editors must keep in mind. “Rûm” as Ethno-cultural Group[edit]

I think you’re plainly wrong here.

The Spanish commentator from Cataluña did not “vandalize” the page in question…

Quite the contrary actually: he simply returned to the initial version I had created in the first place!

For your information, the technical/distinctive term ‘Rûm’ includes ALL the Syrian AND Lebanese (and also the smaller Southern Turkic, Israeli and Jordanian) Greek-Orthodox AND Greek-Catholic ethno-religious subgroups and their descents in the Americas who share common cultural, historical and anthropological traits.

The term ‘Rûm’ is thus much broader than “Greek Orthodox Lebanese” or “Greek Orthodox from the MENA area”.

In essence, it means: “Greek Orthodox AND Greek Catholic-Melchite Christians of Byzantine-Levantine descent attached to the ancient Eastern Roman patriarchates of Antioch and Jerusalem”.
