Information icon Hello. I wanted to let you know that in your recent contributions to List of territorial entities where Russian is an official language, you seemed to act as if you were the owner of the page. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. @Iryna Harpy, Thank you for your message. Just want to let you know that "I have no interest in acting as an owner of a page". I've tried to standardize and improve the article List of territorial entities where Russian is an official language, but you reverted it before discussing. I suggest you take look at other similar article (like List of countries where Arabic is an official language and List of countries where Spanish is an official language) to understand what I was doing. דוד אהרון 8 (talk) 10:38, 28 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, דוד אהרון 8, and welcome aboard! I apologise for not starting a new thread on the talk page of the article in question and, yes, looking at it again I think it's probably better presentation than the former set up. Would you mind if we moving the discussion to the article's talk page if you're interested in creating further parity? Unlike the two articles you've pointed out, this article was split off years ago to form an article on the Geographical distribution of Russian speakers (which you'd have seen is appended in the "See also" section), and this WP:STANDALONE list needs to continue to follow the WP:KISS principle in order not to duplicate content. Do you see any value in holding an RfC regarding rewriting the "Geographical distribution..." article to incorperate this list and rename the former to match the Spanish and Arabic 'list' articles?
