Saba flag
[edit]Hi, I redrew the flag of Saba you uploaded (Image:Sabaislandflag.jpg). It is now Image:Flag of Saba.svg. The original has been listed for deletion. Hope this is OK. –Mysid (talk) 10:47, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
- Yeah, this is fine. It is always smart to have it be a self-created work and donate it so that there's no copyright interference. It looks better and bigger so thanks for the effort! --Eeee 02:13, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
Template info
[edit]A fan of The Bunny? Certain templates require parameters to work. I simply formatted them in a convenient manner for people to use. Look at Help:Template, Help:Variable and maybe Wikipedia:Template namespace to start, and look at other templates that are similar to what you want to make. I learned most of the stuff I know by looking at other stuff. Dread Lord CyberSkull ✎☠ 06:58, 12 November 2005 (UTC)
Misplaced message
[edit]Hi. This message was originally left by Caperni on my talk page, but I think it may be for you:
- Hello Eeee (?), I suppose you're right for your comment concerning the comics pictures, but your 'cleaning' is maybe too 'hard'. You erase some of my "external link" that are totally in the Wikipedia spirit in my mind. For example, why erase the link to the Marc Silvestri's gallery in his page?
- By the way, I'm cleaning my own mess (for the pictures) in other pages but let's discuss about the external links...
- Sorry for my english, I'm a foreigner.
- Best regards. --Caperni 19:19, 25 November 2005
Thanks, Sango123 (talk) 01:14, 26 November 2005 (UTC)
- The blatant advertising on the picture's captions is against the wiki rules and so, many had to remove or revert them. While wikipedia is used for information, it is always in others' minds to sort the unrelated and related info. Sorry if I erased a couple of your links to your site which, you are subliminally advertising on wikipedia. I thought the references to your site on so many of the pages was overwhelming. --Eeee 21:06, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
Hi Eeee,
I pulled your speedy tag off of this article; if you follow the links provided in the article you'll see that it's a real term, and in fact the complete opposite of patent nonsense. (It could certianly use more context, though). In cases of doubt, don't forget that you can always Google before slapping the tag on--you can find a full list of criteria here. That being said, thanks for being on patrol! Keep up the good work... --Dvyost 08:58, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
- It sounded like nonsense since the creator didn't point out it was related to Bhuddism. Next time there is an article that does not relate to its point, I'll try to find its relevance before tagging. --Eeee 21:06, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
- No problem--happens to the best of us. See you out on patrol! Cheers, --Dvyost 01:54, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
No need to fret...
[edit]Hey Eeee, thanks for your concern in regards to Junker (band). I am a member of the band and was just making some corrections to the article my friends and I posted. I will remove the speedy deletion thing, if you don't mind, but again, thanks for your concern. If you think the article is being vandalized again in the future, please feel free to put it back up and my friends and I will check the credibility of the information. Thanks again, David
- I tagged it as speedy delete because your band does not meet the criteria to be listed on Wikipedia. To see the criteria for listing a band/musician on Wikipedia, see w:WP:MUSIC. Your band has only one album produced and is not well known (at least on the internet). Many people have come to wikipedia to advertise their bands. You're not the first, but don't feel bad... if your band does make it big then you're most certainly welcome to come back and add it :) --Eeee 04:18, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- What defines big?
- Notable. Famous. Well-known. See WP:MUSIC. --Eeee 04:48, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for the Barnstar
[edit]I just love categorizing wikipedia, and you know its a never ending task. Just hate to see things out of order, when the don't have to be :D Twthmoses 01:34, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

Use of my picture without permission
[edit]I'm surprised to find one of my pictures (a part of it in fact) on your page about Sekhmet. http://alain.guilleux.free.fr/abydos/Pc040547.jpg
Well I'm not against the idea to give some photos to Wikipedia (in fact I did for the french part) but you have to ask for them BEFORE. So please remove it, or add credit to me. Messuy http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utilisateur:Messuy
- Sorry for adding your pic, I thought since it was a picture of a public place that anybody could take a picture of it wouldn't be different. I'm setting it for deletion. If you want to add your version of it then you can upload it yourself. --Eeee 06:51, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

AI Portal
[edit]No harm intended. Since I created the AI portal and as wikipedia asks for such creating, intend to maintain it I took the liberty of making some changes. IMHO moving the AI template to the bottom of the page was inappropriate and the picture to big since it is more decorative than academic. I even considered that it might have been a BOT making the changes. The pic could be moved more appropriately to the "AI in science fiction" section - as I have done. But I am no wikification expert, so if you feel strong about your changes you are welcome to revert, I am not going to start a war. BTW I havent completly deleted the featured pic section, I just remarked it. Thanks for the message. --moxon 15:48, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
Stargate portal
[edit]Light purple hard on the eyes? In fact, I think the dark blue is a lot harder in the eyes, not to mention the editing links were almost invisible with that colour. It may be changed, but I don't think going for a dark color is the option. --Andromeda 00:48, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
AfD nominations
[edit]Yea, I'm always breaking boxes about the quality of people's nominations. If you provide the links that show that you've done your homework, and reference the relevent guidelines (WP:MUSIC in the last few cases) than everyone is usually happier. But keep up the good work, otherwise. - brenneman(t)(c) 06:43, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
Uncategorized pages project?
[edit](Copied from Wikipedia_talk:Categorization_projects_(current)#Uncategorized pages project?)
So far I haven't found a page where there is a project specifically dedicated towards categorizing uncategorized pages. If there is one I'd like to know where the info is. If it doesn't exist, then I propose there should be one. If there was some organization towards clearing that up, I'm sure the wiki would be improved. --Eeee 05:39, 26 November 2005 (UTC)
- Try User:Bluemoose/Uncategorised_good_articles (copied to Eeee's talk page as well). Carcharoth 07:51, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
Collaboration Efforts
[edit]Hey Eeee, I've been working on a site Wikiversity:School of Fire and Emergency Management and I came across a site in Wikipedia, portal:Fire. I looks like you are the primary person contributing to this portal. I was trying to find out if you would be interested in collaborating on the two sites and working together. Let me know...--Mfinney 00:07, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
- I just filled the portal with info and modified the layout. Fire and firefighting is not really an interest of mine. Add a link to your project in the fire portal and I'm sure you'll get some attention. --Eeee 18:15, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Roseandthornflash.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Roseandthornflash.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:20, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
