If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Hm Elius Hossain Himel, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Please don't write about yourself

[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself, at Draft:Hm Elius Hossain Himel. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 03:47, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I undid your two edits to this page. I know you meant well, but none of the sources on the page use the new name in English without also using the old name as well.

If the name in English has changed, please do the following:

  • Please read WP:Paid editing disclosure. If it applies to you, please follow its instructions carefully.
  • Please read WP:conflict of interest. If you have a conflict of interest with respect to this article, ignore the steps below. Instead, follow the instructions at Template:Requested edit to ask other editors to review your suggested changes and review your request to move the page. Be very specific about the changes you are requesting. For example, you could say "please reinstate the two edits by me dated 06:27 and 06:40, 17 October 2020 (UTC) and move the page to Govt A. Rashid Talukdar College because the school's name has officially changed and most English-language media now uses the new name" followed by the evidence requested in the steps below. Without a specific request and evidence, your requested edit is likely to be denied.
  • If you do NOT have a conflict of interest follow the steps below:
    • Update the page and include at least one English-language reference that uses the new name. While independent sources are preferred, an official web site which clearly uses the new English-language name as an official name is acceptable.
    • Either in the article or on the talk page, demonstrate that since the name change became official, independent, reliable sources predominantly use the new name.
    • Go to WP:Requested moves and request that the page be moved, citing the official name change and its acceptance by reliable, independent sources. Point to either the article page or the talk page for evidence, as the person who will do the page move for you will need to see it or he will likely reject your request. Although you will soon be able to move the page yourself (see WP:AUTOCONFIRMED for details) I recommend that you use the "Requested moves" procedure instead due to you being new to Wikipedia and you getting off to a bit of a rough start here, based on the prior discussions above about articles being deleted. It is far better for an inexperienced editor to ask and be told "no" and why than to be bold and make an edit that is likely to be reverted. First, if the person reverting doesn't explain why, you don't learn anything. Second, repeatedly making edits that get undone or creating pages that get deleted gives other editors the impression that you are here to be disruptive rather than helpful.

Thank you for your continued efforts to improve Wikipedia. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 14:21, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
