Declare any connection

[edit]

Information icon Hello, EmilLattelife. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page User:EmilLattelife/sandbox, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the COI guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 00:53, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Personal assistant

[edit]

Hey World Bruce.

I am Mr. Kings personal assistant and was put to task to create this wikipedia page with the information i was given. I can assure there is no COI what so ever. How do i proceed from here?

//Emil

On the contrary, the situation you describe is the very definition of a conflict of interest (COI). You are writing about King. You are employed by King (you have an employee-employer relationship with the person you're writing about). Moreover, King ordered you to write about him. You are a paid editor, which is the worst kind of COI.
You are in violation of Wikipedia's Terms of Use. You are required to follow the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:EmilLattelife. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=EmilLattelife|employer=Latte Life|client=Cristian Alexander King}}. Do not edit further until you have provided the required disclosure. --Worldbruce (talk) 14:35, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
