Hello Serols, why are you deleting my changes to mountain pages? This is not experiment. Hello Serols, I did read Wikipedia:Weblinks and to me it looks fine. The website BackFromSummit is not different to other mountain websites like SummitPost, Peakbagger, Hikr and others that are already linked in the External Links section of Wikipedia. Having said that, I fully respect Wikipedia project and in particular people like you that devote their time to ensure the high quality of this amazing encyclopedia. Adding spam links: Only warning

Hello there. I need to ask you, as a fellow mountaineer, not to attempt to add any more spam links to the 'Back from summit' website that you seem to be trying to promote. With its 16 members and no encyclopaedic content, it simply is not good enough for inclusion in this encyclopaedia, even if it is a laudable project in its own right. Providing there is additional information on external sites (such as SummitPost, Peakbagger, Hikr and others), then judicious use of such external links is fine. But not this site, I'm afraid. As an administrator here, I have to advise that I have reverted all those edits, and adding them again could result in edit rights being temporarily withdrawn. But, on a positive note, why not come and join us at WP:ALPS or WP:MOUNTAINS and help us improve articles on some of the summits you have climbed? It looks like you've done a lot in the Pyrenees. We often need better photos, and even many of the major summits in the Alps and Pyrenees still have very little to no information on them about first ascents, normal routes, glaciers or geology. Providing that any information you add is sourced to properly published guide books, or other Reliable Sources, and not from personal experience, your contributions will be fine. I can certainly say that working on improving mountain-related articles is a great way of reliving some of those past experiences and summit highlights. Thank you. I would probably have been really short with someone if they'd been adding links to something I knew nothing about (like TV shows), but here I can easily see you want to help out. So if you ever need any guidance here, just drop by my user talk page or ask on one of the two WikiProjects I linked to. The problem with linking to GPS track data is that we are an encyclopaedia, not a guidebook or manual on how to climb the peak. And one person's successful GPS track is another person's route to disaster. It's fine to let people search for information themselves, but we should not be presenting it or linking to user-generated data here. I look forward to seeing some great contributions from you! (If you want to see my cross side, just pop over to the talk page of Mont Blanc where I am currently having real problems from one editor who insists (based on no evidence) on adding an alternative name for the mountain to the lead sentence.
