Enriquepollack (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I will permanently refrain from legal threats, was unkown to me that I could be blocked for this, user CALLELINEA is using his edits on my site for petty gossip, I overreacted because I know him personally and he is using his edits to harm my reputation and minimize my career in radio and is trying to harm my public persona, he should be permanently blocked from all sites related to me, my family or my family home in Cuba-please unblock
Decline reason:
Declined for now as per my colleague Sandstein's very good remarks below. Please request unblocking again when you agree to the withdrawal of the previous threats. Please note that we don't tend to listen to requests to block other users within an unblock request - be reasonable — ⋐⋑ REDVEЯS 21:10, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
I have finally decided to respond to the many comments Mr. Pollack has made. My edits Have been based on facts not lies.. Nor have they been malicious or trying to minimize his accomplishments.. All the things that have been placed in there that I could not verify by published works I have removed. If he feels I have libeled him I would more than wellcome his threat to take me to court, that would then provide a published sourse for what he and I know a facts.. May I add that I wrote the article on his family home because I felt it need to be placed in it and no where in it was anything vaguely negative in it.. Perhaps instead of Mr Pollack only writting about himself he could put entrys of his family and their many contributions to Cuba. Such as his families tobacco business, his grandfather, and his great grandmother. Like I have stated in his delition page I do not feel his entry needs to be removed just edited. All opinions removed and only the published facts placed there. Callelinea 17:57, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- The conduct of Callelinea is not at issue here. You have been blocked for making legal threats, and will remain blocked while these are outstanding. Refraining from making more threats is not enough. Do you withdraw your declaration that you intend to sue Callelinea? Sandstein 19:07, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
is closed. Concerns about defamatory content should be sent to the Foundation. The email is info-en-qwikimedia.org, with a link to the page and details of the problem. To be unblocked, user must state that they have withdrawn the threat or concluded any legal action --Deepfriedokra (talk) 23:32, 24 May 2022 (UTC)
- Any real life conflicts with any other user should be kept off and out of Wikipedia. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 23:35, 24 May 2022 (UTC)
