Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Trans man. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 09:47, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

As I hope you know, the article is under discretionary sanctions (see the top of the talk page) and you have been made aware of these sanctions by my edit alerting you about them last July. Which reminds me, these alerts are generally only good for a year, so don't be surprised if you get another one towards the end of the month. Doug Weller talk 12:07, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

Please don't disrupt articles in that manner. You can ask at the wp:Reference desk. Article talk pages such as talk:Trans man are for discussing improvements to their respective articles. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 09:49, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

@Jim1138: Please clarify, the sentence is clearly ambiguous, in what way is the ambiguous tag inappropriate in this instance. Wikipedia:Ambiguous Words

My apology! I misunderstood your edit. I didn't see the template portion. Thanks for your revert. BTW, you need to sign and save the ping and signature with one "Publish changes" for it to notify. Again, my apology. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 17:03, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

Utopia

Hi Ethanpet113, I just wanted to let you know that I removed the copypaste template from Utopia. The article that was referenced at ResearchGate was published in 2017, so it was probably copied from Wikipedia. I didn't search the article itself to see if they gave proper credit to Wikipedia because that would have required downloading the article to my computer, which I was unwilling to do.
