RV[edit]

What?

The article Miguel Guedes has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. ∫eb²+1(talk) 10:42, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bijago art[edit]

Evolife. If u see this pls understand I am trying my best with the references. i m also trying to get an article on Bidyogo art started. i have submitted it TWICE. First time it was rejected. Second time no clue. can you please help me find out if the article was accepted or why it was not? thanks and regards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.93.59.116 (talk) 16:21, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I can reach, your article about Bidyogo art is under review and evaluation by other Wikipedia users. You can check it out here Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Bidyogo art. You must continue to improve it by adding the most reputed references as possible (like this one for example: http://www.uiowa.edu/~africart/toc/people/Bidyogo.html -- from the University of Iowa). I suggest you to register in the Wikipedia (WP) site by creating a WP username with a password too.Evolife (talk) 16:48, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Evolife for helping with the Bijagos art page. I will now expand it into a really nice piece. Also I like how the references are listed so they dont repeat. i will try to keep the same style. btw, maybe u can help me with if it possible in wikipedia to cross reference from English wikipedia to Portuguese wikipedia? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.93.59.116 (talk) 18:49, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment.
