September 2012[edit]

Hello, while your edit request at Talk:Andy Murray is no doubt mildly amusing, it is not to the benefit of the project. Cheers. The Rambling Man (talk) 08:14, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That's okay. You can always try to make some positive contributions to Wikipedia if you like? Like notifying me of that user. I have blocked him. Thanks again. The Rambling Man (talk) 08:23, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
CRIC is shorthand for WT:CRICKET or the talk page of the Cricket wikiproject. We have a persistent vandal who has been site-banned whose edits I have to continually revert and whose accounts I have to block...!! The Rambling Man (talk) 08:59, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
In cases where you can't edit a page because it's been protected, you can make edit requests on the article talkpage using the same template you used on the Andy Murray talkpage. The Rambling Man (talk) 09:30, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Feel free to ask me any other questions you may have. Cheers, The Rambling Man (talk) 09:38, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

2012 embassy attacks[edit]

Making a change to the leading sentence of a politically sensitive article is just a bit radical for someone as new on the scene as you appear to be, by your list of contributions.

There is no doubt whatsoever that the film trailer was going to cause outrage, once it had been discovered. Once it was on YouTube, it was a ticking bomb, so to speak. I have not the slightest doubt that the majority of protestors, including those in faraway Sydney who demand that the film-maker is beheaded, are mainly protesting about the film.

The motives of those who showed it on TV in Cairo are another matter.

So we will leave out words like "ostensibly", and deal with the doubts and suspicions in relevant areas of the article. Amandajm (talk) 11:20, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea how old you are. You have been editing since 12th September. Amandajm (talk) 02:06, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
