Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. You reintroduced unsourced material, redid some Manual of Style violations, and so on, without even explaining why, not to speak of discussing your changes, which is required for constructive editing. Do you need any help? I'd be happy to assist, but you do need to communicate, not just revert my edits. --Muhandes (talk) 15:31, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Fekusheku. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the COI guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Muhandes (talk) 07:44, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule, as you did at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- Scott Burley (talk) 23:30, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

To make it easy for you, I started the discussion and all you need to do is comment. Repeating the changes without discussing this to consensus is disruptive. --Muhandes (talk) 20:47, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
