Changing title of the page

Title of page

There has been some attempts lately to change the title of the page from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi to IIIT-Delhi. Clearly, WP:AT should be followed. While we should use the common name of the institute, no evidence was provided that one or the other is more common. Even if there was, I would argue that the name IIIT-Delhi is misleading - it alludes that this institute is an Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT), which it is not. At the very least, this requires discussion, so please add any thoughts you have. --Muhandes (talk) 20:46, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

For what it is worth, against. While other "IIIT <location>" titles are in use on Wikipedia, the lot of them are redirects to the fully-spelt-out name. —A little blue Bori v^_^v Fram was railroaded! 02:20, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
