You appeared to have ignored an instruction that was hidden in the page on I Am... Sasha Fierce. Because all of her covers are similar and can be easily described in words including the deluxe edition, platinum edition, re-release or bonus track EP covers breaches internation copyright law. The rules regarding album covers are strict. Only 1 is permitted per album page. An alternative may be used if the second cover is sinificantly different from the first and if its inclusion adds to the user's understanding. Where covers are similar (e.g. different colours/altered text) the law is quite simple "only the first/most significant cover" can be used, using more than one cover is Wikipedia:Copyright violations. Please do not re-add the covers.(Lil-unique1 (talk) 03:02, 21 November 2009 (UTC))[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours to prevent further disruption caused by your engagement in an edit war at I Am... Sasha Fierce. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. I Am... Sasha Fierce

[edit]

I have reverted all of your edits to the singles section for the following reason: you have added unverified facts (e.g. sales) and reproduced a list format which is not acceptable for GA status. Albums should be written in prose. WP:Albums doesnt even mention a singles section but because so many have been released they're written in paragraphs. Do not change back. If you do i will inform administrators that you are being deliberately disruptive. I have made it clear that the article is undergoing construction and maintainance. If you wish to help see the talk page.Lil-unique1 (talk) 10:46, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Beyonce_as_honeyB_in_telephone_MV.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Beyonce_as_honeyB_in_telephone_MV.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You have been told time and again not to make a bulleted list of the singles in the Lady Gaga album articles. Consider this your last warning. --Legolas (talk2me) 06:15, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Last warning

[edit]
This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
Per WP:ALBUMS and guidelines for WP:GA and WP:FA, artciles should not contain lists of information (excluding the personnel section). That means you should not put singles in bullet points as you did to Kelly Rowland (album) following a very recent warning for doing the same thing to Lady Gaga albums. There will be no more warnings, instead adminstrators will be informed if you continue to be disruptive. Lil-unique1 (talk) 11:27, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Gayonce it looks like you've been warned a billion times already... please stop disrupting the project with your edits. Maybe you can find a fansite to contribute to somewhere else that doesn't care about using unreliable sources. JBsupreme (talk) ✄ ✄ ✄ 07:09, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kelly Rowland (album)

[edit]

Hello whilst your effort to try and improve the album were appreciated the nature of the information you added was incorrected. I have removed the entire section of the article you created called "Release". Let me explain why.

  1. First of all this section replicated/duplicated information already contained in the article.
    • The lead and the Recording and production sections already mention that the album was pushed back to accomodate new recording sessions.
    • The latter of which, mentions new sessions with Akon and Tricky Stewart.
  2. The entire section was sourced from Rap-Up, and per standards one should not overely on one source.
  3. The idea for the layout was that once released the commericial performance section would say something like "After being pushed back the album was released on October 26, 2010 in the United States. Upon release Kelly Rowland debuted at 'x' with 'abc' copies sold..."
    • So do you now see why a release section is redundent?
    • Also why have a release section when we already have a release history?
  4. If the pushbacks continue or if more information becomes avialable in addition to the information we can have a new section/seperate section about the pushbacks.
    • Also note the release can be mentioned in the 'Marketing and Promotions' section too if need be.
Side note
  1. The entire section made use of unformatted refs.
    • in future use {{cite web}}. If you are unsource just ask me or leave a message on the talk page.
      • Or you can do what I did when I was first learning, copy other references then just replace the details.

Thanks --Lil-unique1 (talk) 02:28, 24 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Again

[edit]

Recorded tracks are not appropriate for this album as the full songwriters/producers are not known and a number of songs were recorded for different versions of the album. It is inappropriate to add such a section when there is already a detailed and length section already in existance. It also violates the hidden message which clearly says "PLEASE DO NOT ADD A LIST OF RECORDED SONGS". Do not add it again... -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 19:24, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Recorded songs / Kelly Rowland (album)

[edit]

This is the final warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. You have been asked to STOP adding a list of recorded songs to the article because the article already has a detailed section containing this information. Considering that it would be wrong to remove the section called "Recording and production" there is no justificantopm for a list of the recorded songs to appear, anywhere in the article. This is because it would be an active duplication of the information already at the article. If you disagree engage in discussion either on the talk page at Talk:Kelly Rowland (album) or on my personal talk page. And if you can convince me that there is a need for such a list I will agree to it. Please do not add them again or you maybe blocked/banned from editing. -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 16:49, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Beyonce article

[edit]

Stop adding non free images of Beyonce's video shots. They are more suitable for the single's article in the music video sections as that is the reason why they were uploaded. They weren't uploaded to decorate the main article. ozurbanmusic (talk) 01:35, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

STOP ADDING MORE IMAGES on the Beyonce article, theres already heaps there, no need for more because its taking up too much space and makes the article load slower. Beyonce

[edit]

Beyonce began working on her fourth studio album in 2010. Explain why you keep changing the year to 2011? For now, it's based on the year she began working on the album. Once it get's a release then it can be changed to 2011. Also, the image in the infobox does not need a change. It shows her face more clearer (which is important), than the image you changed it to, which makes her look drunk. ozurbanmusic (talk) 13:20, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Isis4.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Isis4.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. We hope (talk) 16:02, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
