Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Franklin, North Carolina with this edit, did not appear to be constructive, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent edits do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the "sandbox" rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! Bentogoa (talk) 17:15, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not create malicious redirects. They are disruptive and are considered vandalism, and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Wikipelli Talk 17:17, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Sylva, North Carolina with this edit, you may be blocked from editing. Wikipelli Talk 17:28, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}} I don't understand how this constitutes vandalism?

Perhaps you should read WP:VANDALISM. If you cannot see how redirecting an article about a town to Nothing or black hole is disruptive vandalism, then you shouldn't be editing here--Jac16888 Talk 17:41, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}} So basically your saying if I am too stupid then I am not welcome on wikipedia. Also I have scientific proof that Sylva, NC is a black hole; which is why I feel that the article needed to be redirected.

In a nutshell, yes. And comments like that are not helping you, anymore disruptive behaviour and I'll block you--Jac16888 Talk 17:53, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}} Where can I report mod abuse?

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for vandalism. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:

I was banned for asking how to report mod abuse not vandalism as is reportedGayGrissom (talk) 2:33 pm, Today (UTC−4)

Decline reason:

No, you were blocked for vandalism, as a quick perusal of your contributions will show. TNXMan 18:42, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Yes I received an official warning and was told to stop at 17:28. After that time no other edits on this account had been made. I was banned at 18:04. Your reason for banning me is rendered invalid by this alone. Also I never received an answer where I can report mod abuse. Thanks in advance. GayGrissom (talk) 18:49, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You were using this account only for vandalism, which fully justifies the block. Wikilawyering about the time when a user warned you is pointless, as your history of vandalism was quite sufficient to justify a block with or without warnings. Since your use of this talk page is unconstructive (e.g. pretending you don't know how your editing was vandalism, claiming you have "scientific proof" of your nonsense, making completely baseless unblock requests) and a waste of everybody's time I am also removing your talk page access. {{helpme}}

Please stop using helpme. See above; If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first and then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you abuse this procedure by making too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page as long as you are blocked.. Your existing request will be processed in due course.  Chzz  ►  18:54, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
