Page blanked

[edit]

Hi Georges T

I have blanked this page, because the policy is that Wikipedia is not a publisher of original thought.

The guidelines on user pages forbid Writings, information, discussions, and activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals, including "Extensive writings and material on topics having virtually no chance whatsoever of being directly useful to the project, its community, or an encyclopedia article. (For example in the latter case, because it is pure original research, is in complete disregard of reliable sources, or is clearly unencyclopedic for other clear reasons.)". The content here was pure original research.

I do acknowldege that you trimmed it significantly in October, but there was still far too much of it. So at this point, it is best to clear it and start with a clean slate.

I suggest that you find some other website to publish your research. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 01:06, 5 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Georges, I'm about to delete your musings from Talk:Leap second per WP:NOTFORUM (and to some extent, the same concerns expressed by BHG above). Sorry, but that's the rule. If you want to make a copy of it to keep on your own computer, it will remain the history of the talk page. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 09:46, 28 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm JalenFolf. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Passion of Jesus—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Mr. JalenFolf, please let me edit "roman soldiers" to "impious jews". It's what I see in painting. With regards and fiendship, Georges Theodosiou, The Straw man. Georges T. (talk) 09:33, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Caught by a colocation web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. My IP address is 185.65.227.37 Georges T. (talk) 13:57, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural decline as your account isn't blocked, therefore I can't unblock, and you can edit from another IP range. Lifting the IP block is not something easily undertaken, so I recommend that if you are using a VPN or iCloud Private Relay or something similar that you turn it off and try again after a couple of days when the DNS updates. Or ... you could go to WP:IPECPROXY and follow those directions to request IP block exemption so this won't be a problem again. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:20, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Daniel Case, if you don't mind, let me introduce myself as a Greek citizen who currently lives homeless in France and has access to the public internet. I'm in the Chemillé Library right now. According to a template I found yesterday, the power to edit was restricted. As a consequence of my request, it has now been unblocked. Greetings and nice day. Georges Theodosiou here. Georges T.
