  • Comment: Error: There was no comment detected! Please follow the instructions at Template:AfC comment. Overall, good news: we 100% definitely need an article about this person. Thanks for noticing out lacking and working to fix that!

That said, though this is a good start we very much need proper WP:Sourcing. Wordpress articles are not professional reviewed/published, so while interesting are not something we can officially source. Fortunately there are many articles on Sankaradas on news websites and GoogleBooks. I suggest that you check GoogleBooks to find passages which "prove" the facts stated here, and apply them as WP:Footnotes. For example, where you say he was born in Kattunayakkanpatti, go to GoogleBooks and search "Sankaradas Kattunayakkanpatti", and you will find books such as this one: link which state this fact. Take the URL for that book, plug it into http://reftag.appspot.com, and it will automatically become a Wikipedia footnote you can paste in to the end of that sentence. Now if a reader is looking at your article and thinks "how can I be sure he was indeed born in Kattunayakkanpatti?" he can simply click the footnote and check the book. Your fact is now [{WP:Verifiable]]!

I hope all this is not too confusing to learn; by all means please contact me or the volunteers at WP:Teahouse if you need any assistance. This article will be a very valuable contribution, so please continue in finding proper footnotes, ask for help whenever you need, and then hit Resubmit on this page once you have made the needed adjustments.

Thanks again for your work to improve our Wikipedia coverage of Tamil art! MatthewVanitas (talk) 19:35, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
