Hi. What is the fastest way of getting an article out of Draft and into a normal "article space"? Is it possible to find someone to do it for you?

Hi. I was blocked for creating the article on Mechanic Miner which were declined with the reason "Stop trying to use Wikipedia to promote your product", but the article was removed for using copyrighted material (which is kinda contradictory in it self). Let's start from the beginning: I was trying to create a article on the game Mechanic Miner - a game I'm working on myself. Looks like the article was mistaken for promotion, but it was only made to allow YT to acknowledge the game as a real game. The article was 100% wrote by me, although most of the text was reused from the games Steam page (which I wrote) - I understand now that this is not allowed, since you can't copy text, thus the article was mistaken for using copyrighted material. This in an appeal for you to unblock me so I can make the article at new - and do it properly this time. Greetings Needo

Hi! I'm trying to get myself unblocked by resolving the issue I had by failing to disclose a paid conflict of interest, but I'm unable to declare a COI on my userpage as I'm not allowed to edit it. How do I do that? Also is there more I'm missing to do before I can request to be unblocked?

There are several problems here. Firstly, the paid editing disclosure, which you are willing to comply with. Secondly, copyright - unless you can provide evidence that the content in question was released by the copyright holder under a free license compatible with the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license, putting copyrighted content on Wikipedia violates that copyright, or at the very least Wikipedia's copyright policy. Don't do that. Even if you could provide evidence of appropriate licensing, the content about your game was an advertisement and unsuitable for Wikipedia for that reason, too, so there's no need to bother with the license of that specific content. Beyond that (and the related issue that you used Wikipedia to host an ad for your game), there is the problem that there's no indication that the game is notable enough for a Wikipedia article in the first place. All of that can be summed up as: Wikipedia cannot have an article on the game, and it would likely be a very bad idea for you to write about other topics you are affiliated with. Are you, under those circumstances, still interested in editing Wikipedia? Then you can request another review of your block; it would help if you can indicate what you intend to to when unblocked. Hi! This is a questions/response to the last request for help (answered by Huon 01.20 13 Feb). if this is not the right way to respond, please ignore this message and let me know. The problem about copyright: I'm the copyright holder of the text-content (which I wrote as a developer on Mechanic Miner). I can prove that by either you contacting the Mechanic Miner through the contact-information provided on our homepage or letting me know how we can contact you - would that be evidence enough? Further more I do not intend to use that content again anyway, as it is - as Huon pointed out - very much not suitable for Wikipedia, since it mistakenly looks like advertisement. I like to point out that I do not wish to promote or advertise the game (Mechanic Miner), I solely wish to have the game on Wikipedia so it gets recognized as a game - including on YouTube.

I've read the "Noteability" article that Huon linked, and I must conclude that Mechanic Miner at this time do not meet the requirements of being notable. But the community around Mechanic Miner is growing exponentially, and we have tens of thousands additions to our community each day. When the time comes, and the game will meet the requirements, will it make more sense for me to urge the community to create a Wikipedia article on Mechanic Miner, or will that be a problem relating to COI?

Concerning my ban. I still wish to become unblocked/unbanned, or atleast have my IP block lifted so the rest of the office can use Wikipedia properly. Furthermore I do intend to use my account to editing as I have done before the creation of my account.

Given the information above, would you say I have a proper case if I request another review of my block? Is there something else I should do, or should I just give up?

GoHappyNeedo If the organisation is happy to donate the material (which would be what we require to comply with our licencing requirements) then they would need to do so by following the instructions at this page.

The issue regarding the unblock request will need to cover: What you did wrong (intentionally or otherwise), how you're going to prevent it happening again and to display sufficient understanding of he WP:COI and WP:PAID policies so that you know what you can/can't should/shouldn't be doing in relation to pages you have a conflict of interest in.
