Hello Grrbibi18
[edit]Hello Grrbibi18, my name is Ling.Nut. If you have any questions, you can ask me. • Ling.Nut 07:32, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
- I don't know of any 5 rules, but I do know the Five Pillars, which you can find at WP:5P. Read that page, and then if you have any more questions, let me know! • Ling.Nut 04:21, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
- Let's see: to learn how to edit, see WP:CHEAT, Wikipedia:How to edit a page & Wikipedia:Article development
- If your classmates would like to find a mentor to adopt them on Wikipedia, they should copy this: {{subst:dated adoptme}} and put it on their user page to request adoption.
- I would be happy to adopt you, if you like.
- Don't forget to put four tildes (like this ~~~~), not three tildes, after everything you write on talk pages. Don't put tildes on an article when you editit it, though.
- If you have any further questions, just ask. • Ling.Nut 02:57, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
Mentor
[edit]I have offered to mentor you and help you edit Wikipedia for the course taught by User:Thelmadatter. You may ask questions here though it would be better if you did it at my talk page. Cheers and good luck, Mr. R00t Talk 02:11, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
- Just a note. When you edit talk pages on Wikipedia it is important to sign your posts with
~~~~
You probably should only be adopted by one person
[edit]- It seems as though you have two different adopters. That probably isn't the right way to do it. • Ling.Nut 04:33, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
- Actually there was a discussion at WT:ADOPT about that and they said that as long as the user was getting the help they needed there could be as many adopters as wanted to adopt. Mr. R00t Talk 16:28, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
- From my exp., many Wikipedians tend to get in arguments over silly and trivial things. My goal was to prevent other adopters from becoming unhappy; not to limit the amount of input that Grrbibi18 rec'vs. OK then. • Ling.Nut 04:06, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
Jaral del Progreso
[edit]I took at look at your article. Many of the sentences are too similar to the Spanish. Not only is this a possible copyright problem, it is also difficult to understand. I made some changes but some still need to be made. What is "grilled cheese"? I know what it is in English but Ive never seen that in Mexico. Do you mean sincronizadas? Rephrase the sentences of the history section. Both sections still need to be expanded to meet the eight sentence minimum. Also, see if you can find someone to fix the template for you.Thelmadatter (talk) 00:35, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
- You mean the cheese itself is cooked on the grill? Use the Spanish name for the dish so that it does not get confused with the norteamericano dish grilled cheese.Thelmadatter (talk) 15:40, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
- After "obleas de queso" can you write a definition or description "....obleas de queso, which is...."Thelmadatter (talk) 18:25, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
Capitalize the word "Mexican"
[edit]- "Mexico" and "Mexican" should always be capitalized. Nations and nationalities are always capitalized in English (I'm not absolutely certain if the same is true for Spanish, but I believe it is). • Ling.Nut 01:12, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
article!
[edit]I uploaded the sorces from the india section today for the two paragraphs. Both are from different sources. I'll try to make a neutral reflection for the article and look for the sources of the Mexico section. Greetings! :D Mcchb0418 (talk) 04:42, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
I'll look at the article
[edit]- I have some papers to grade right now (I'm a teacher), but I will look at the article later today or tonight (it's morning now where I live). See ya later! • Ling.Nut (talk) 01:16, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
