The Barnstar of Diligence
For your diligence in adding names and especially all those issue numbers to List of celebrities who have appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. Great job! Alanraywiki (talk) 19:47, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Graphic Imaging Technology requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:07, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

DCUC

[edit]

Hi, as you have taken some steps to remedy the issues in DC Universe Classics instead of wholesale restoring the old version of the page, I hope you can perform further improvements to the page utilizing reliable sources. As the page stands, nothing in the article is cited by a reliable third-party source (that means you can't rely on material directly published by Mattel, MattyCollector, DC Comics, the Four Horsemen, and so on), and that means there is nothing to prevent all the overly-detailed wave info from being removed again. If you need help, I can lend some assistance and guidance, but do bear in mind that ultimately much of the information in the page will have to be removed again. What stays and what doesn't will be determined by reliable sources. WesleyDodds (talk) 10:54, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, List of Radio & Records number-one singles of the 1990s, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Gamemaster eleven (talk) 03:37, 18 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited American Memories, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page 45 RPM. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:18, 18 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Xaosflux: This account was recently renamed and the editor appears to have been changing their username in various places. CheckUser data indicates this account is highly unlikely to be compromised. I think this is a misunderstanding. ~ Rob13Talk 05:00, 7 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@BU Rob13: thanks for the note. I see the rename and have unblocked this account. User:Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr, it is not appropriate to edit all of those old discussions. If you want them to be linked to your new username I suggest you recreate your old account and then redirect it's user and talk page here. — xaosflux Talk 06:06, 7 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Secret Wars (toyline) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence this product meets WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
