Er, the term is "poor" not "pour", which is a verb. SpencerT♦C 10:57, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Manuel Comnenus image[edit]

Hi Hans, I'm always suffering from a lack of time! I didn't take that picture, I must have found it online somewhere (and I'm sure it will have to be deleted according to Wikipedia policy). Adam Bishop (talk) 12:50, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi Adam, what a pitty. So, I shouldn't use it either. Thanks for your information. --Hans-Jürgen Hübner (talk) 14:26, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
Actually, I see it is still being used on the Manuel I Komnenos article, and the image page claims it is a public domain image. So I guess it's okay after all. Adam Bishop (talk) 01:54, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. --Hans-Jürgen Hübner (talk) 08:17, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Cold Lake First Nations, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Heart Lake (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:35, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

Link to Heart Lake is removed. --Hans-Jürgen Hübner (talk) 07:03, 15 April 2012 (UTC)

Helmut Diez[edit]

I've reverted your most recent edits on the Helmut Diez article. I think you could benefit from reading WPs core policies and guidelines with respect to encyclopedic style, proper sourcing, undue weight etc. If you need any further guidance or care to discuss this further, please leave a comment on the article's talk page. Rhode Island Red (talk) 18:13, 30 May 2012 (UTC)

That's what I have done. --Hans-Jürgen Hübner (talk) 09:13, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
My best advice would be to seek input from someone uninvolved, someone who's not previously participated in any discussion about this article. Nyttend (talk) 12:06, 5 August 2014 (UTC)
Have you got an idea? --Hans-Jürgen Hübner (talk) 15:22, 5 August 2014 (UTC)

Edit War Warning[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

May I ask, why I'm the only one who is warned, despite obvious vandalism? --Hans-Jürgen Hübner (talk) 16:10, 5 August 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Springer Gabler[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Springer Gabler requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ― Padenton |  10:57, 20 March 2015 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 21[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Springer Gabler, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Controlling. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

WP:NPA is Non-Negotiable[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people. Comment on content, not on fellow editors.

Your edit here[1] constitute a personal attack. It is not the first time you've done it and I have asked you nicely several times now to stop. Please be WP:CIVIL so that this chronic issue won't have to be brought up for administrative action. Thanks you in advance for complying. Rhode Island Red (talk) 04:41, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
As ever: polite intimidation. --Hans-Jürgen Hübner (talk) 08:11, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
Now a little bit less polite, but much clearer. Do you try to intimidate Wikiwiserick? or me?: [2]. As I said, try your luck. But is this the way to promote your demand of "NPA is Non-Negotiable"? You couldn't have shown more obvious, that your strategy consists of massive intimidation, contortions, missinterpretations, discrediting, etc. Wikilawyering does not seem to be enough for you. Should I make the first step and ask for a CU? Should we be polite and ask Wikiwiserick, whom I informed already? Or do you want to? --Hans-Jürgen Hübner (talk) 11:05, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
