Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Geeta Phogat. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Please help me with... 1. How can I add a link to a blog article written about the artist, I added the link on Guru Randhawa and it raised a strike. The article is genuine and it talks about the latest song released by the artist.

2. PartyMap.in provides profile pages like Bollywood Hungama, Facebook, Twitter. The artist profile page on partymap.in are genuine. How can I add a link to the profile page below FB/IMDB external links. This is of course not promotion but a useful tool for anyone to connect with the artist management for live shows. Blogs are not considered reliable as per Wikipedia WP:RS policy, so you cannot add them as per rules, either in the article body or the external links section. Partymap.in is a promotional website, we cannot add them anywhere as per WP:PROMO. You can expand the article using reliable sources like India Today, Times of India, act. Go through WP:RSP, WP:ICTFFAQ to know more about reliable sources. Go through the links on the Welcome message you received above. Those should help. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings.
