February 2023[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, club, organization, company, or website, I have blocked this account from editing. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here.

Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change of your current account here. The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual person, and it must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
  • To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
  • If you prefer to change the username on this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page here: {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken or in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Appeals: If your username does not represent a group, organization, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page here: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

Thank you. UtherSRG (talk) 22:16, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Point 1. amount mentioned in the original article is wrong i.e. 6000 is wrong and contribution given by govt is 5000 so i have corrected it. 2. I have added additional information on scheme which is missing from orginal artical Point 2. Qualification & Documents required for availing scheme is an important part of the scheme which is missing and should be there or reference should be there. I have added info and reference. I don't think deletion or blocking is justifiable. HaryanaBlogs (talk) 08:37, 1 March 2023 (UTC)e[reply]

Decline reason:

One open request at a time, please. — Daniel Case (talk) 07:17, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@HaryanaBlogs You were blocked because of your username, not your edits. Your username implies a connection with [Haryana Blogs], which is against Wikipedia's policy. 1AmNobody24 (talk) 09:42, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can I request change of this username? If possible. HaryanaBlogs (talk) 09:45, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

As per WikiPedia policies username seems a promotional name so please change HaryanaBlogs (talk) 09:56, 1 March 2023 (UTC)

Accept reason:

Since the blocking administrator said "You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy", and you have now chosen a suitable userame, there can be no reason for keeping the block, so I have renamed your account from HaryanaBlogs to HarviP, and lifted the block. However, you should be aware that Wikipedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and when editing you should not express opinions, as you did when you wrote, for example, "Haryana Govt. is working hard to get it's share of water from Punjab", "Situation about government jobs, public transport especially roads and supply of water and power is improved a lot now", and "we can't say now that South Haryana is behind any other district". JBW (talk) 20:47, 10 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@UtherSRG: was the username the only problem or do they need to address something else too? 1AmNobody24 (talk) 11:51, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

They have made several unsourced edits, as well as some that were simply improperly sourced. Also, blogs are not reliable sources so should not be used. - UtherSRG (talk) 12:00, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
