Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Essendon Football Club, you may be blocked from editing. CLCStudent (talk) 14:15, 19 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously? Is rewording something seriously considered vandalism? I don’t mean to start an argument or anything but I have no idea what I did wrong by editing that

Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, Headingreallysux, does not meet our username policy.
Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.
A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.
You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this notice, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Beeblebrox (talk) 20:31, 19 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Was that really vandalism???

[edit]

Is rewording something seriously considered vandalism? I don’t mean to start an argument or anything but I have no idea what I did wrong by editing that Headingreallysux (talk) 07:30, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is really what you think then you lack sufficient competence to edit Wikipedia. --Yamla (talk) 09:38, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Than why was that not cited as the reason for the warning? Realistically, why was there even a need for a warning in the first place? You could’ve just used the system like any other person would and just edited it back to what it was if it was seriously that bad, but instead you abuse your power as a mod to call it ‘vandalism’ and give me a warning lmao. Seriously... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gamergamer456 (talkcontribs)

If you make edits like that again in the future, you'll be blocked. --Yamla (talk) 11:39, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm gong to have to say I reluctantly agree with this user. I looked at their contribs and deliberately went with a username-only block. I don't believe they meet WP's definition of vandalism, which in short is edits obviously designed to harm an article.
That being said, they also don't look like they were intended to actually improve the articles either. What possible point there was to the series of edits on Lake Eppalock in particular eludes me. If you want to do test edits please use the sandbox as opposed to articles or other pages. Beeblebrox (talk) 23:24, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Possible point: getting autoconfirmed. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 10:06, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
If you do more edits like this [1] I will ask Beeblebrox to block you again. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 15:12, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Beeblebrox: You've got what you asked for: “they meet WP's definition of vandalism, which in short is edits obviously designed to harm an article”Special:Diff/936071971. Especially when you compare to the history of the Greensborough College article. --CiaPan (talk) 15:39, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Aight sorry chief Gamergamer456 (talk) 15:37, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oh fuck boys no this was not my intention please no ban Gamergamer456 (talk) 15:40, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

And with this, you are done. You clearly have no intention of contributing constructively to Wikipedia. Instead, you spend your time vandalising articles and harassing people. We don't need that sort of immaturity here. Feel free to request an unblock in a few years, when you are significantly more mature. --Yamla (talk) 15:48, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Alright will do chief. Apologies Gamergamer456 (talk) 15:53, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
