Paul, thanks for feedback. Hopefully this round of amends will get us to, or very close to, the finishing line.

Hi, I am the author of this submission. Although I am a writer by profession, this is the first article I have attempted for Wikipedia and I have plenty to learn. In researching the suitability of this submission, I reviewed other entries for English cricket clubs. I would certainly place South Loughton Cricket Club alongside others with entries in terms of notability. The club is prominent within the county of Essex. I also attempted to adopt a similar tone and scope of content to those entries that, rather than simply list personnel past and present, or trophies won, had attempted to give a historical overview and provide context in terms of the club's current activities. The club in question has published two editions of its history (for its 50th and 75th anniversaries) but neither book carries an ISBN number (the latter is still available on Amazon) so I did not refer to them - I can do if you feel this would be appropriate. In terms of using external references to establish notability, those cited are inevitably local rather than regional/national. The club has received coverage in both national magazines and newspapers in the past but these are either not online or, in the case of The Times, behind a paywall. Finally, the feedback provided by the editors as I developed this submission was very helpful in trying to establish a neutral and encyclopaedic tone; I am puzzled by the reference to self-promotion/spam as I was confident that any remaining peacock terms had been removed. In requesting that this article remains on the site, I would add that I am very happy to do whatever remedial work you feel is necessary, or for your community to do this. Initial feedback to the article when I shared the link was very positive and I suspect others may seek to develop more entries for cricket clubs, this expanding the depth of coverage of this important sector of English cricket. Kind regards, Andrew

Hello, as the author of this article, please can you explain why, when no-one has supported the proposal for deletion, the decision is to go ahead with deletion rather than reinstatement. Having worked with your initial reviewers to make the piece compliant, you graded the piece as C. Per my comment above, you haven't explained the rationale for deletion nor what can be done to make the piece meet what are clearly additional compliance requirements. Why were these not fully flagged during the submission process? I am very happy to make changes as required. While I respect your right to make decisions regarding deletion, there has to be greater transparency in this process. Thank you.

D3O

[edit]

Hi, I've noticed that the orthography of the company name has been changed incorrectly, presumably automatically. I can't edit it back.

The company name is D 3 capital letter O, not D30 or D subscript3 O.

The subject title and one of the section headings need to be corrected.

Also the redirect seems to be from D3O to D30.

I hope it will be possible to make these corrections.

Thanks
