Edit Summaries
[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks!
In more detail, while I see you have been using edit summaries, they invariably say "Fix", which is simply not an accurate reflection of your edits. For example, in this edit, you added an example (which I've since reverted, reason in edit summary). This isn't "fix"ing anything, and useless/misleading edit summaries are just as bad, if not worse, than no edit summaries. Thanks. 35.139.154.158 (talk) 18:13, 28 June 2024 (UTC)

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
What did you block me for?
[edit]What did you block me for? I didn’t do anything. Highway Helper (talk) 17:09, 5 July 2024 (UTC)
1st unblock request
[edit]Highway Helper (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
The reason I want to the unblocked is: 1) I didn’t do anything because in the future I will make very good edits. 2) Highway Helper and Interstate Good don’t have their friendship because Highway means road in all countries and Interstate means Highway in USA ONLY. 3) I’m not really a sockpuppet of Interstate Good because they came from different names. 4) I edit Simple English Wikipedia sometimes because I want to make new articles in English AND Simple English Wikipedia. 5) I never do bad edits in Wikipedia because I will make very good edits in the future. 6) Before my main account was Interstate Good, but now it is Highway Helper. God that was a long unblock request and if you accept this request I will helpful edits in Wikipedia, if you decline this request I will be back tomorrow for the next request, okay?
Decline reason:
Utter nonsense. Good block, no need to entertain this troll any further. Yamla (talk) 18:24, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
(block log • active blocks • global blocks • autoblocks • contribs • deleted contribs • abuse filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
