Image maps

Hi, before you go to much more trouble, I suggest you stop uploading your new maps. The existing maps are of better quality and are standardized. There is no real need for a new version. older ≠ wiser 03:58, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I count approx 21 pages, and files, changed from svg files to png images. In a couple of cases someone has even reverted to the svg and you (Hoptop that is) have reverted the revert. The png files of the townships are clearly superior to the pushpin maps in that they provide precise locations. I was attempting to include township boundaries for consistency.

I agree about the whitespace. I was using my widescreen monitor to work on this from home, and only discovered upon logging in here at work that the maps are WAY to big. I work for Shiawassee County and we'd really like the highlighted maps posted (much like the Monroe County, MI pages).
