It is believed that, at some point during a lifetime, most people dream of starting their own business. The desire to escape the '9 to 5' grind and to be free of an 'overbearing' boss are pervasive. What then, separates the mere dreamers from those who take decisive action to become their own boss?
In many instances, the status quo is simply not uncomfortable enough.
As annoying as a job might be, many people are not willing to exchange a regular, monthly pay check for the certainty of fluctuating income.
As tyrannical as a boss might be, many people lack both the confidence and discipline to efficiently mange themselves.
Entrepreneurship thus remains an elusive dream, as many people are unwilling to "leap, and grow wings on the way down".
